Be nice if there was a filler for that gigantic hole in his face between his eyes (that's not his mask). The eyes and mouth are cool looking minus that.

Cool pictures. The immobolizer is a cool accessory too. I'm also glad I was able to get in on this figure. It was a fun day getting Exhaust and Star Saber in the mail...

Lovin' masterpieces. Now I still have to put together my classics version of Exhaust (with Auto Assembly exclusive add-ons and stickers from a few years back).

Are all those graphics in alt mode reprolabel decals or are they stock with the figure?

They are "unlicensed" sticker sets from China that are extremely official looking stickers, complete with Hasbro packaging and all. If they are official Hasbro Asia stickers, please let me know ... but last I was told they are not official.

This figure has quite the sorted history, what with legal issues and rumors galore of cancellations.

I think you mean "sordid history", not sorted. No biggie, just now you know.

They're more like the dry decals that come with Gundam figures than traditional stickers, but they look really good. Also, does anyone know how to fix the spring that pushes the tab up to fill the slot for his weapon in alt mode? Mine kind of sinks down when I position his hood to slot in and doesnt come back up.

I'd like to know how to fix this as well. Mine has the same problem, though it looks like it's all there so I'm not sure why it works on Wheeljack but not on Exhaust.

I tried to get the pin out so I could get to the spring and see if I could tighten it or something, but all I managed was to make a rounded indent on each side of the hood where the nail was pressed. Luckily not visible in vehicle mode!

Here's my Transformers Masterpiece coin collection to date! Love these things! I just wish I managed to get a hold of the extremely rare coin that came with the recent MP-8X reissue in some regions of Asia. That coin craps all over the garbage plastic throne that was included elsewhere!

It's a shame Hasbro Asia cancelled the MP-23 Exhaust coin because I was really looking forward to adding that to the collection!

Masterpiece Star Saber was the winner of the Takara Tomy Masterpiece Fans Choice poll back in 2013. Star Saber is a Brainmaster whose smallest robot form is the Brain of Courage who links with a Transtector to become Saber. Saber then combines with the V-Star to become Star Saber. I'm not sure if this was already thought of and I really didn't bother to check.

So with some of the flaws present with this Star Saber is it highly likely we will see a second run of this MP? With that possibly addressing some of it's current flaws. :-?

A second run of Star Saber, even though he still appears to be in stock at most places. But flaw fixing? Doubt that'll happen.

Other than the one backpack issue (which is pretty minor IMO) I have no issues. It's a damn solid figure and I haven't heard many complaints. Even the best figures out there have some kind of flaw.

Loved seeing pics of him with Wheeljack as a nice nod to the episodes Wheeljack appeared in.

Though, I'm a little saddened to see no pics of him in his super mode without the Star Saber helmet on, as he would occasionally walk around in the show in his super mode with his Saber head exposed like so:
