Not to mention he's based on a jet that was decommissioned years ago, though I can give them that one on nostalgia.

I second that. With Turbomaster repaints to boot

That would be like...double good.
I don't have proper words for the kind of goodness that would be.
In my blackened heart though...I fear Botcon will do it.
Remember when we could get cool stuff like that from Target or Walmart as a Black Friday special?
You know, I've wanted to see that concept in reality for a while. I'm a staunch supporter of the G1 Dinobots (especially comic Grimlock) and 1 of the things I always thought special about them was the fact that they were a team that didn't combine. However, just thinking about it, how menacing would a combiner made of Dinobots be? It would certainly be a match for Predaking, perhaps even more.Seibertron wrote:My expectation out of the Combiner Wars toys? Dinobots as a combiner finally. It's not something I want at all, but I think there's oddly a lot of fan demand for it. If we get a Predaking to battle "Dinoking" (or whatever they end up calling the combined Dinobots), I guess that'd be pretty cool.
Gonna have to go against you on this 1. Those were 2 characters and toys that I always thought were the lowest in G1. I never had the Sky Lynx toy, but the character in both the cartoon and comics was annoying. Omega's character in the comics was passable, but in the cartoon he was almost pointless, and the toy was just dumb. I understand what they were trying to do, but IMO it failed miserably. It was not appealing to me at all. But, that's just 1 little kid's opinion.Anyone else hoping they can take the Combiners Wars concept in a different direction and give us an updated Skylynx (he's a combiner of sorts) or Omega Supreme (parts combiner).
"Menacing" is putting it mildly:Rodimus Prime wrote:However, just thinking about it, how menacing would a combiner made of Dinobots be?
