We have a new entry in the Seibertron.com galleries, and we're working in a slightly different order too. Feast your optics below, by clicking on any of the images, on a full gallery of the recently released Leader class Transformers Generation Combiner Wars Armada Megatron!

Though not a combiner itself, it still falls under the 2015 toyline, and much like deluxe Armada Starscream, homages the Unicron trilogy cartoon of the same name. The toy shares the mold with the more G1esque tank Megatron (stay tuned for more on that!), features a new antlered headsculpt and orange/green/purple deco, plus a firing missile, telescopic arm cannon and a big purple rifle gun. Do the Megatrons each have different handguns? It's looks like they do in the pics.

I'm getting both of these. I like the G1 Megatron better, but it'd be nice to have the Armada one to keep Armada Starscream and Hot Shot company. I do wish they remolded him a little more so that, for example, he could have his capture claws at the front of the tank.

They are, but they are dangling out from under the front. Pretty cool.

I just wish his legs were thicker and the turret came out under his arm, etc.

If I did an Autobot group shot with "Autobot" Megatron, which 1/2 dozen figures from the past few years would you like to see with Megatron? I was thinking Tailgate, Brainstorm, Cloud Rodimus ... not sure who else though.

I actually really like Combiner Wars Armada Megatron. My biggest gripe is that he has the same gun as "G1" Megatron as well as the same chest plate. I wish they had done something to remold that part to differentiate it more from the other Megatron.

I also wish the giant cannon was detachable so that it could be on his hip, or on its right should for a G2 Megatron.

Oh yeah. Now I see it. Would've been cool if he had the blade the original had.

And I do see that the head (and claws) are under the tank front/chestplate. I'm trying to see if there's some way to leave the chest flipped up in tank mode but I don't think so since it looks like the arms have to swing there to form the turret. If the chestplate was removable altogether...

This post has most I was going to add along with the 3 Seibertron listed. But I would do TFCC Chromedome and Rewind. Nightbeat, Hoist, Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker too maybe.

I have to say I really enjoy this figure. I was never in to the Armada toys or the Unicron Trilogy stuff but this toy is fun to transform and I just LOVE the fact that he has real tank treads that work properly and don't fall off (yes I totally was driving him around my desk in tank mode :lol:

).

It is time for another entry into the galleries of Seibertron. The big bad himself Megatron comes to you in high quality pictoral form. This is the G1 deco of Combiner Wars Leader Class Megatron inspired by his G1 animation model. Megatron comes with stickers to make him either a Decepticon or Autobot (see semi recent issues of the IDW comics for that story) as well as G1 details.
