I kind of like the different looking way they painted that UMagnus. However, I can't stop seeing in the bot mode pic shown in the article, that he looks like he is dribbling a ball, or about to punt...

I got cliffjumper and skywarp from mandarakes website in japan and I got ultra magnus from a seller on ebay out of North carolina. They are apparently currently available at two discount chains exclusive in the south As well as from hasbro Asia (cliffjumper amd skywarp both have the Asia sticker on the back of their packaging). I'm assuming these will be available at other chains such as big lots and dollar general and possibly family dollar later this year.

I was surprised how much better it is than the Henkei version. This is another example of Takara's version isn't always better! It seems whoever comes out with a figure second has the better scheme. The original Masterpiece Starscream is another example.

Is there anywhere to get these online? I've had dreadful luck hunting at dollar stores in my state.

I'm praying Hasbro puts these same toys up with one retailer... or at HTS.

And this is a complete set already. Legends Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker are released. Leader Skywarp hasn't even been mentioned yet. Well, in any official capacity anyway.

Yeah, I'm kinda bummed they didn't make Galvatron the middle guy... then you could have scourge, sweep, cyclonus and armada as arms.

I do hope we get a troop builder sweep option.

And I do hope we get a set of seeker arms, strange as that is. We have a mold ripe for a light retool into them. If Hasbro doesn't, I'll have to take it on as a kitbash project.

This time we take a high resolution photographic look at Combiner Wars Defensor and his component Protectobots Voyager Class Hot Spot, Deluxe Class Rook, First Aid, Streetwise, Blades and Legends Class Groove. You can find all these guys in wave 3 of Combiner Wars.

In this iteration of Defensor, Groove has been replaced as a limb by newcomer Rook and relegated to forming chest armor for Defensor. I was hoping to snag these in the store. Didn't want to order bulk online. I was encouraged when Walmart got in bunches of wave 2. Was discouraged when yesterday I found them on clearance for $8. Meanwhile, one step changers from last year clog the shelf.

Offroad and First Aid's Hand/Foot/Guns can attach to the top of the vehicle mode too. There's a slit cut into their specific guns that slots on the tab on top of the the vehicle (For Offroad it's in the tray) They sit nice and flush.

Well see if I have time sometime in next week. Thought about it but at almost 1000 pics for these 7 galleries I had to move on right now to other new figures. Viper and warpath and thundercracker are next. Still wish I had found a small dog toy from schleich that would fill in for buster In a gallery.
