I'm super excited for these guys. Completing Defensor was a white unicorn for "carytheweeone. I received all the limbs as a gift (did they come as a 4 pack?) for xmas. It seemed like it took forever to not only track down Hot Spot, but to talk my folks into buying it.

I kinda hope Takara make hot spots head all black with red eyes.
Not a huge fan of rook or groove, but will grab them till the jp version drops.

Hey all,

I know this is a gallery topic, but since some of you obviously have Defensor, just a quick question--

I have an MISB Japanese Hotspot (Inferno/Grappel mold) from the Generations line that I don't plan on opening.
I'm really diggin' the CW line so far, but I'm going to focus on collecting most of the Decepticons.
However, Hotspot was one of my favorite bots.
Is he worth getting even if I don't get the other Protectobots?

I read on TFwiki that CW Stunticon OffRoad started off as Triggercon Ruckus. Do Rook & Alpha Bravo have any history to tie them in any way to a previous character, toy, cartoon, or comic book story? I like my OffRoad based solely on his toy, but the G1 tie-in enhances his intrigue & my like for him. Has any designer commented on this? :-?

Alpha Bravo looks suspiciously like Vortex in Robot Mode, so much that some are expecting a redeco of him as Vortex for next year's Bruticus. Rook is new from the get-go, and he didn't get his name by random: the top of his head is modeled after the castle chess piece aka "Rook" and given his heavy-armor vehicle and bulky robot mode, it's apt.

Our newest gallery is perfect for the Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover fans in the house. Combiner Wars Legends class Viper is a retool of Powerglide from wave 1. He is a double homage in that his alt mode is that of a Cobra Rattler while his head sculpt is a homage to Wild Weasel who pilots the Rattler. He also retains the weapon mode that Powerglide had which can be wielded by the Combiner Wars combiners. Viper was first seen in the Transformers: Battle Tactics mobile game. Mildly liked the CW Powerglide toy enough to buy it. Only bought it for it's targetmaster combiner ability. Have no interest to buy repaints using this toy.

Like the idea of a G.I Joe Transformers toy cross over. but it has to be a great character, nice design and big toy that I like. Like doing a bigger, better character like Optimus, Megatron, Overlord, Sixshot, Shockwave, Seekers.

I came across my small stack last night. I'm torn on what to do with them. So for now they sit in the same box with all the instructions.

You guys are a tough crowd. Where are the folks that like this little guy? I love him! I thought it was great that we got an official Transformers/GI Joe Transformer toy after 31 years (the Titanium Megatron toy doesn't count ... it was just a BS bio for a BS toy).

What's not to like. TF and Joe is like PB&J. He's a buy on sight in my book.
