Lighten up? It's fairly obvious to me that many (perhaps even most) who use those terms are doing so in a lighthearted manner, for the fun or irony of it.

I guess thats a different perspective of looking at it. I do understand where youre coming from. But for me, I just call it how I see it. I dont even try to appease Hasbro's monopoly on characters that they refuse to produce. It's not even funny how they hold all these copyrights that they never use. Especially with some of the crap they put out. (not saying all Hasbro stuff is crap) I guess calling them by their real names is my way of telling Hasbro that third party company companies are here to stay. In other words, I dont aknowledge Hasbro's copyrights.

I am really looking forward to these figures. I wish they came with guns rather than ninja weapons, but you can't have everything, lol.

I hope Fansproject sticks to filling gaps in the Classics line. I would love to see them make a Voyager size Galvatron to go toe to toe with Protector or City Commander!

THANK PRIMUS SOMEONE ELSE IS THINKING THIS. I'm so tired of seeing 'not' anything. I just find it kind of annoying.

Anyway, I saw these pics a few days ago on their other site. Looking amazing, I'm so glad I preordered them all.

I call them by their G1 names because I can't remember their FP names.

They just aren't really the Insecticons (or whomever we're talking about in any given thread) so I can't help but use "not" or whatever.

Although sometimes I'll just use the regular names. Maybe one day I'll get sick of saying "not".

Call them by their G1 names or their assigned 3rd party names. Adding the "Not" is kinda redundant to me.

I'm gonna go one step further and say that I hate the phrase not-$TransformerName. That's why I always call them by their supposed name (Shrapnel, Bombshell, Kickback) or use the Project's name. Using the not-$TransformerName seems childish and disrespectful IMO.

Well, we all collect toys here, so a bit of childishness may be forgiven .

Whatever their names are, I know they'll be going on my Classics shelf.

YES! TotallY agree! Some people take this stuff so seriously! I think they forget that we are, after all, on a Transformers (Toy collecting) website!!! Don't get me wrong: I LOVE Transformers!!! But, it is kinda silly for anyone to get worked up about the details.

Is it just me or did the elease date for Stormbomb suddenly become July? I could have sworn that BBTS had him listed in june..My pile of loot is gonna auto ship without the most important peice I know delays cane be expected, especially from a 3rd party company but even FP normally hits their dates relativley close..

Think there still sitting in customs?

Fansprojects is notorious for product delays on new molds.

FP's own website had the release date as June 30th, so it's not just you. Though it's very possible that release date refers to when FP sends them out to the retailers, hence the disconnect in release date v. available date.

I believe that's the date FP intends to ship out to distributors, which means individual buyers like myself will need to wait a little while longer for them to be "in stock". Although what's interesting is that RobotKingdom is listing Thundershred as pushed back until mid-July. Must be their expected receipt of the figures.

I was waiting until July 1 to ship my Pile of Loot, hoping Thundershred would make it, but I was disappointed. I'll just hope he comes in by end of July when I plan to ship again. And I won't hold out hope that Stormbomb will be available at that time.

It usually takes a bit to get so much condensed awesome together. It'll be here.

FansProject has had products released late before, but once it's in-hand, I don't think anyone has complained too much. FansProject is worth the wait.

what happened to the supposed release of thundershred...could have sworn I saw that FP was shipping these to online retailers on the 5th. now RK has em for early Aug

the waiting is not a problem, this isnt my first FP rodeo its just that I swear I read that they were already on the way

I heard that they would be shipping to retailers sometime this week.

The main reason I order from BBTS is the Pile of loot feature. It really saves you alot of cash if you order frquently but they do auto ship stuff after 3 months. Just wish i could get a semi-definitive answer So I can have an idea of when my POL is gonna autoship..
