Why do I see these two as really really annoying characters? By the end of the movie we are going to hope that Ironhid shoots them. I am not saying comic releif isn't welcome in a movie, but don't create characters speciffically for that purpose.

Yup these guys are the next jarjar. Heres one more reason that this movie is going to suck. Mold would have been some what decent but that horrid head just makes it a fail.

Maybe we will get lucky and get a G1 repaint of Skids with a G1-esque shape head....

Re: New Images of ROTF Skids, with Bio.
Body looks okay, that head sculpt is horrible though.
And it does look like one arm is bigger than the other, and I think Mudflap is the mirror opposite. I think they're really trying to give the 'two halves of a whole' feel to the twins, but it's not working, yet.
Thing to remember kids? The bios on the packaging tend to not be 100% accurate to the detail, especially between toy and media. Been that way since G1. There's still hope they won't be nearly as 'retard' as that bio sounds.
And they're still better than Wheelie.

Seriously though, I hate the twins' heads...way to ruin an otherwise decent pair of bots, Hasbro! I still might just get them for their alt modes...meh.

Blame Bay, not Hasbro, for that one.

I'm guessing that one of the sites that does after market TF kits will be scrambling to be the first to put out a set of hard plastic "paper bags" with eye hole cut outs that are custom fit to go over these guys' heads. I was wondering why Bay has so many scenes where the lighting is low and why, in the daytime scenes we only see these guys in their alt. modes. It's cold and it's crass but as the saying goes, "Beauty is just a light-switch away"

Highbeam, I just might run with your idea. I'm still debating...

I still don't know what to say about skidz and mudflap, they have very cool alt modes and the robot modes are cool too, but their heads are killing me!!!!
I really hope their not comic relief in this dark film, its not the right time or place for this i think. Maybe they look like this for a reason? or maybe the mighty Devastator stepped on their heads too! ha ha ha

Is anyone else really hoping that Skids and Mudflap are both voiced by Mike Judge?

So, let's take Skids, give him Sideswipe's family situation, give him part of Bluesreak's personality, and make the ugliest face we can. Sounds GREAT!!!
Yeah, wonderful idea guys.

Re: New Images of ROTF Skids, with Bio.
I hated the heads at first, too. Mudflap's head looks MELTED for goodness sakes. I had thought about kitbashing them new heads, and I'm sure some people will.
But I think it would just be easier to slap Decepticon stickers on them. Autobots outnumber Decepticons anyway, so taking two ugly bots and making them Cons really just helps even things out.
But, yes, it would be cool if they actually gave us a blue repaint of Movie Skids with a more G1 Skids face.

Skids is very ugly to me whether he is in alt mode or bot mode. I hope the movie explains why the face is so malformed. Is it supposed to be damaged?

Re: New Images of ROTF Skids, with Bio.
im really not keen on the Autobot twin's faces. Or in this case, their bios and stats. I feel like theyre getting set up for the Jazz treatment with their obscure names, but well see what happens.
Skids couldnt possibly be as annoying as his bio suggests...could he?
well, at least sideswipe looks great.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Am I understanding you correctly?? The symbol is on one of his buck teeth?? Like some sort of hip-hop, rapper gold or jewel Abutobot bling??? Where's that ugly stick?! I'll finish what was started on the Autobot then I'll go after the artist. There are just some places people should not go when it comes to Transformers and I'll be damned if somebody wasn't foolish enough to go there.
Please, Firebird, tell me I mistook your post. PLEASE!
I've got nothing (well, not much) against rap or hip-hop, don't get me wrong. I'm a metal-head and I bought the Grindcore figure solely because of his name and bio, but he doesn't LOOK like a metal-head. NO Autobot should resemble any genre of music fan. It's just not right! Besides, rappers should be offended if THIS guy is representin' them! That's like equating rap with inbred fugly!

I wish you were. And I hope that they decided against it before the character models were finalized.
But back when Activision had the renders for their game online we got this picture. Look at the black smudge on his right tooth, It looks suspiciously like a certain faction symbol.

There was another with a closer look at his face and the tooth, but Unfortunately I didn't save that one.
And Stormrider, we can just throw a Cronoformer around Skids neck to get the same effect

We need Platinum chains obviously. Otherwise the effect would be ruined by clashing colors
