That's his grill. Someone forgot to fold it in, if that's even possible considering how much extra plastic is on there compared to plain 'ol Breakdown.

Your wording read as though you were talking about his old grill.PrymeStriker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:His chest has been retooled with a new grill.PrymeStriker wrote:skidflap wrote:anyone notice that breakdown has a retool on his chest? Or is it an attachment?

That's what I just said.

Yeah, I think I'll be sticking to the Cyberverse version of Smokescreen...

I mean, I thought you were refuting his inquiry about it being a new grill instead of the old grill. By "extra plastic", I though you meant Breakdown himself instead of just the grill.PrymeStriker wrote:How? I was responding to his comment on the retool on his chest. I even said mentioned how much extra plastic is on this grill compared to the old one.

Legion Smokescreen is his own mold, not a retool of Legion Knock Out.That Bot wrote:There's still no ruling out the possibility of a new mold Deluxe Smokescreen during Beast Hunters. They retooled Legion Knock Out in Cyberverse, so they might do something for the Deluxe as well.

He is clearly Knock Out from the waist down.
Define "clearly".That Bot wrote:He is clearly Knock Out from the waist down.

Additionally, we've seen no other new Autobot or Decepticon molds from Beast Hunters yet, just extensive retoolings, and I'm not inclined to think that Smokescreen is the exception.

That Bot wrote:I seriously cannot be the only one that sees how glaringly similar these figures are. We've seen extensive retools before, and this is one. The details are different, but the shape and structure of the lower body is the same. One-piece legs that bend inwards at the knee, flat feet that are attached to the rear of the car (I'll acknowledge that Bumblebee also does this), a thin waist that's more like two perpendicular lines than a triangle like the other Legions. Smokescreen doesn't have the trunk of the car on the back of his legs, but that's because it's attached to his arms. The upper body has been restructured so Smokescreen can have the split hood and door wings. His arms still attach via the same odd right-angle hinges as Knock Out's and as best I can tell, his hood folds up and over in the same way as Knock Out's. Additionally, we've seen no other new Autobot or Decepticon molds from Beast Hunters yet, just extensive retoolings, and I'm not inclined to think that Smokescreen is the exception.

Well, unless you count the Predacons, which are sort of Decepticons. Yet, it's been hinted that we'll be getting a Voyager Grimlock, and the mystery Voyager for Wave 1 I predict is Shockwave. Just because the first wave has no new 'bot and 'con molds doesn't mean that there won't be any in the line at all.
