With the recent news that a Hasbro Masterpiece Thundercracker will be coming soon as a Toys 'R' Us exclusive, Seibertron.com is pleased to present another Hasbro Masterpiece Seeker gallery. Masterpiece Skywarp was released under the Transformers Universe banner as an exclusive to Walmart. He ulitlizes the original Masterpiece Starscream mold which was produced by Hasbro also as a Walmart exclusive. So without further ado, we present to you Hasbro Masterpiece Skywarp.

Universe - Classics 2.0 Skywarp

I have Perfect Effects Tritan Staff PE-10X in Masterpiece Skywarp's hand while floating on his stand......it looks wicked. I love his colors. I have a ridiculous amount of MP Seekers and Skywarp is only sencond to Starscream Can't wait til MasterMind Creations Cyclops hits......I love Purpe paint apps with Decepticons...badass!

Ahh...Skywarp, the original Black repaint. And my second favorite seeker. I had no idea the Hasbro version looked so good. Painted like the original toy, no?

I like how Takara's MP Skywarp's arms are actually closer in color to the Hasbro Classics Skywarp, and it looks like the Hasbro MP Skywarp's arms are closer to Henkei Skywarp. Nifty.

EDIT: for the record i'm not dissing the new gallery, if i've been misunderstood. I'm just dead bored of the redundancy of that mold and seeker repaints.

I only own 3 MP figures and im glad to say thus is one of them. Great figure was fairly priced and looks badass in either mode. My only problem with it are they eyes, they should be red like the other one. But on another note i think Walmart should get all the MPs exclusively, not only do they actually put them out & restock them but the prices are reasonable unlike another store that charged $85 for an MP.

Looking good. I have this one and I look foward to finally getting Thundercracker. I wish somebody would make a conversion kit that allows you to change the hips/legs into the new mold. Im sure a new waist piece without the ball joints could be made in each seekers respective color. Then you could just clip the jet kibble to the legs where it belongs.

I found this figure at my local Walmart 4 months ago on clearance for $19.98. Easily one of the best finds I've ever had.

you're kidding right?

this isn't a repaint just to make money.. this is a repaint that actually makes sense, and is needed. most fans like it when starscream has his two other seekers with him. you're post isn't misunderstood, but it is unwarranted. this isn't "starscream's body went supernova" or whatever the hell other repaint they could've done. this is a character that has been in transformers lore and canon from the beginning.

anyways.

this is the one and only time that i've ever preferred the hasbro version over the takara version when it comes to masterpiece figures. .. the takara version fits together better (at least mine does) but the hasbro versions color scheme looks better. so i have the hasbro version with my starscream and thundercracker.. i do however wish that the wing decals where more accurate to the cartoon rather than the G1 toy. but it's something that i can deal with since i like the color better.

I really hope the new Thundercracker is this mold (even though the new one is better). I just want all my seeker molds to be the same.

Hasbro have already had there arses kicked by Igears version of the seekers. A company that took the mould and fixed it to be like the original starscream proto that was first shown before it all got screwed up with parts of jet stuck on the waist

The igear version of the seeker mould knocks this crap outa the water and at least with Igear they gave fans what they wanted - 1 the seeker mould FIXED and 2 they gave us the coneheads as well

All hasbro seem to do is keep giving us this crap with no fixes....im sorry is it THAT hard for hasbro to take away the parts of the jet on the waist?

Guess more of my money is YET AGAIN going to 3rd party companies. Im sorry but if Hasbro complain about 3rd party companies so much why on each dont they pull there fingers out of there arseholes and start giving fans what we want? like what the 3rd party companies are doing?

This post is so full of fail that it's not even funny. The only thing true in this diatribe is that iGear gave us coneheads. They didn't fix a damn thing. They copied. They copied the mold from Hasbro and copied the fix from a customizer and by copied I mean stole.

Also, I believe this was released before iGear stole the mold and fixes.

I only opened mine 2 days ago he's been on display misb since he first came out about what 2 years now?

I have to say he's better out the box i agree about waist kibble but once folded back can't say it bothers me he's an excellent figure

if i was to pick on something it would be the lack of leg movement when posing in a mid air pose or his right thumb being loose

Hasbro have taken the figure and done pretty much bugger all to it aside from afew different paint apps

buying the same crappy mould re-released without any fixes is just stupid. Its like buying a motorbike and then seeing you have the choice to buy that same bike but BETTER with all updated add-ons and improvments....yet your still saying you would prefer the lower option?

ffs these are TOYS - i couldnt give a crap if people say igear stole something. Its not stealing if your taking something and improving it and then giving buyers more options. Hasbro didnt give us SG+Clear mini mp prime yet igear did. Hasbro dont seem to wana give us coneheads - het Igear did

why not stop moaning saying -hey i dont like kos WAHWAHWH- and notice there 1 hight quality and 2 give people a choice when there isnt one offered by the actual companies who should be giving us the things we want in the 1st place

This came out long before the iGear version. And, yes, they stole the mold from Hasbro/Takara. Let's not sugarcoat it, iGear has some products that are just thievery.

But does this HAVE to be derailed? If you want to convince us the iGear Seekers are awesome, show us some pics and reviews in the 3rd party forum instead of simply stating a preference in a thread about this figure and the gallery here. The gallery looks pretty nice. Almost makes me regret passing on this figure.

Yes, it is a great figure and worth every penny I paid for it. The only thing that would make it better is if it came in the MP-11 mold.

Does anyone have both Takara and Hasbro Skywarp? And if so, which one do you like better?

Personally I want the MP11 mold. However, if it's MP3 mold, then I may get it for my son while I keep the stand.

Why is this figure so cheap?? Cheapest MP out there. I paid more for my classics skywarp then i paid for this. (both on ebay)

Awesome figure and much better then the classics version in my opinion. you certainly get much more toy for the money. hahaha

This is a case where supply outweighs demand. Walmart had a ton of these and a good deal of them sat on shelves to be clearanced out. Some people bought them cheap probably in hopes of selling them for big money in years to come. They didn't cost that much to begin with. I bought mine on clearance at retail for $30 which was half off.

Basically, it's Hasbro's IP. However you choose to look at it, the Igear version is a KO. Nope, not a 3rd party toy, a KO. Yeah, they did fix the tail kibble issue by sticking it onto his leg. Well, you took the whole figure from Hasbro and you change a small bit, I don't think you can count that 3rd part, unless they only sold the replacement bits to mod the kibble, like what Fansproject does.

So yeah, since it's Hasbro's IP, it's technically against the law for Igear to sell their seekers. Well, I see you have no problems with buying KOs, but some people might not like what Igear is doing, so it's best to respect their opinion.

BTW, please start your sentences with a capitol letter, and I'm sure there's like a spell check function on your computer or phone...

We have K-Mart here, which is our version of Walmart.
I was happy to get Skywarp, except for one minor flaw.
