Decided to change my Honour vote to Arcee. Throughout her many incarnations I've consistently disliked her character - aside, that is, from TFP - but her bio description provides an interesting character I could get into. And is a lot more interesting than Magnus or Hound.

I voted Arcee, Deathsauras, and (of course) Shockwave.

Reasons:
Arcee- I like Arcee better than the other characters in the Honor section, and I wouldn't mind a good looking Arcee Prime in my collection if she did win.
Deathsauras- I love me some JG1. An updated version of his toy would be awesome, and it would be interesting to see his leaders skills as a Prime
Shockwave- C'mon, how wasn't I gonna vote for my favorite Transformers character? We need a good CHUG Shockwave and him being a Prime would be a facinating and awesome thing.

I think the bios are only going to be a toy thing if this does affect IDW or some other media I'm pretty sure that they will do something different.

Because nothing has never followed the toy bios consistently.

I don't really know what the bios will effect if anything; but we're supposed to make our choice based on them - and Arcee's is a direction I find more interesting than many other candidates and most incarnations of the character herself.

Right of course was just stating ahead of time that the Bios might mean something now but nothing might come out of them in the end with how Arcee is now in IDW I just mostly see her becoming a Prime more of a reason to become even more edgy then she already is.

That's if this vote effects IDW which I'm certain it will with how the two previous votes were.

No. Supreme Commander is the rank of the current Autobot Leader. Convoy (Optimus Prime) had it, followed by Rodimus Convoy, Fortress, Ginrai, and then Star Saber.

For my part I voted Arcee, Deathsaurus, and Shockwave. It's going to be an interesting vote regardless.

I know I said that Hasbro probably wants Megatron to win the vote for next Prime, just based on the current storylines in the IDW ongoing series, but another thought crossed my mind, this time centered much more firmly on the toy line. What if what they really want to do is promote Optimus Primal?

Consider this. There has been some hinting (and a lot of fan speculation) that the overarching theme/gimmick for the final part of the "Prime Wars" trilogy will be beasts. That would give us, finally, updates of some of the beast-based combiners from G1, like Predaking, Abominus, Piranacon, and Monstructor/Dinoking, for instance, as well as more Beast Wars era characters, and MAYBE a Classics/Generations update for the G1 Dinobots as well. If beasts will be the theme for Generations (after The Last Knight stuff wraps up), who better to lead Cybertron during that time than Optimus Primal? Sound crazy? Well, you know what Primal thinks about "crazy."

Of course, that hinges on IF Hasbro is headed in that direction at all, but I think there is a pretty good line of evidence that they will. Combiner Wars and Titans Return have pretty much retraced the steps of almost all of the major G1 gimmicks. Combiner Wars gave us the combiners, of course, and Titans Return have, with the rather ingenious concept of the multi-functional Titan Masters, given us not only Headmasters (deluxe, voyager, and leader toys), but Target Masters (weapons with cockpits), Power Masters (different added abilities associated with each Titan Master), Micro Masters (the leader class base modes), and even Action Masters (transforming vehicles for single-carded Titan Masters). Really, all that's left is Pretender shells and then the Beast Wars relaunch of the Transformers franchise. (Let's just ignore G2 for now and things like color changing vehicles and air powered missile launchers).

Honor: Arcee

Order: Star Saber

I still don't see Arcee winning this at all it's more likely that Ultra Magnus would win that category but Hound seems to also be a popular option from what I have seen here and on Tfw2005.


So really who knows but I don't want a female winning the third fan vote in a row like seriously it's getting boring.

I love this idea. BTW the voting is no open for a few hours.

Besides, Hound is the best option of the characters considering he has never been a leader in any continuity and he could be that story of the lovable scout that made Prime

News Alert! The reveal is in!

The Power of the Primes vote has shown off the final 4! Throughout the week, fans voted on who is next to bear the matrix, and the website has officially announced the 4 finalists. They are:

-Honor - Ultra Magnus
-Chaos - Optimus Primal
-Order - Star Saber
-Wild Card - Unknown Evil AKA Deathsaurus

I feel the same way. I hope Victory fans split their vote between Star Saber and Deathsaurus and enough fans of MTME don't want Ultra Magnus to leave the Lost Light, that Optimus Primal wins!

Just because I thought about this after my first post:

We got the Hammer, the Monkey, The Gundam, and the Kaiju squaring off for the matrix. Well, I really like all 4, so I will be very satisfied with the results of the vote!

Now I just gotta pick which one I actually want to win

I am NOT happy with the results, all 4 characters have had some sort of leadership before, I really wanted Hound to be the next Prime

Great... Two of the guys I voted for made it. Now I have to decide between Primal and Star Saber..

Well yay three out of those 4 would have their identities ruined by becoming a Prime and the fourth is an evil character.

Ultra Magnus, Optimus Primal and Star Saber were already interesting for being leaders that were not Primes especially Primal who If I remember right the show made a point that while he wasn't a Prime he was a great leader who was a father to his men and kicked tail-pipe regardless.

Like what would they even call him anyways Optimus Prime?

And I don't think it works anyways because Optimus and Rodimus were originally average underdogs who became something greater but here a leader becomes another uhhhh leader or something?

How dull and generically boring.

I don't care what happens next so I'm not bothering to vote any further and this reminds me of why I usually consider fan votes to be cancerous diseases never leave things to mass fan voting ever...

Well, if art imitates life, I'm putting my money on Deszaras since Trump won. Might as well see the Transformers Universe deal with their own version of alternate facts, border walls, racism, and other hot topics. Unfortunately, that sounds way more entertaining or interesting than the other three choices.

Oh Primus, please no! Real life is already horrific because of Trump. Transformers is an escape for me. It's my happy place.

I doubt your life is ruined because Trump is President while he is an awful person and probably will be a bad President it's hardly the end of the world there have been bad Presidents in the past and there will be some in the future because there is no perfect leader unless their name is Jesus Christ.


Just like it wont be the end of Transformers no matter who wins the voting but if enough fans (like 90 % of em) make a big enough fuss online and other places Hasbro might just ignore the results and act like nothing ever happened after the toy comes out.
