so what is the final color of the Background going to be? I'd go with a darker gray or black personally.

the background will be navy blue with hints of purple and black and lots of stars

im using the space backdrop fro the movie and tv show for inpiration

yay and early then i expected,
i just want to say a big thank you to everyone for there kind words during this project. also like to say a big thanks to my missus for supporting me

and to Don himself for not only drawing it but also not trying to kill me for constantly bugging him with questions about it

unfortuanltly i cant post the FULL size pics just yet (theses are 1 seventh the original size) but i will as soon as i get back from the hospital

anyway here is my present to fans everywhere

i presesnt not only the finished version, but a more cartoon orientated version and just the colours

Thats just friggin awsome. Amazing just how well the all color version reads. It actually resembles a painting. Speaks well for just how much color variation you put between planes of each figure. So one tiny question/request. I know it would be rediculous to put the auto/con logos on EVERYONE, but not seeing one in the center of Meg's chest, the focal point of the whole sweet thing seems especially odd to me. Any chance for maybe just one there and one on Op's sholder?

I actually noticed this by looking at Megs' chest and seeing none... Then I looked around and there weren't any at all!!

It's the same in all 3 versions. >_>;; I can understand it in just the colors... But the other 2...? Buh?!

ok heres a lil idea iv been playing with for a while.
im thinking of making the litho interactive....
iv experimented with interactive stuff once before with some dw pages i coloured for fun

now the idea is for the litho that when you click on someone... they talk

buuuuuuuuuuuuut obviously not everyone has spoken on the toon. so what im asking is that if anyone out there thinks they can give bludgeon or thunderwing or ANYONE on the litho whos not allready voiced. then have a go and send it to me

so when do we get to see larger versions of the lithos? even twice that size would be much better. (although I don't have an upper limit. heheh)

oh, I didn't recognize the thumbnail image.
but... it's the same size as the one you posted halfway down the previous page with the 2 other versions. most of the characters are still pretty small and blurry.

hmmm... hadn't seen that before. was that there the whole time or is that new? o_O; wow, that is large. it's so large that at full-scale I can see the lineart is scaled up. but not the colors.

phew hehe ok gotta little suprise instore for you guys
well iv been busy the last couple of months with finishing college and then joining the likes of josh as an idw colourtist

(check out the idw panel at botcon for a preview:P)

but wait thats not a good suprise is it

no welllllllll, im bored of this pic so whats im gonna do is..... redo it... maybe

or atleast improve on it. my colouring has improved a lot since i did this so i thinks i can make it even better, and yes and the sybols on to everyone
