That song was good. Not as good as the 86 theme but it was sweet. Kinda had a linkin park feel. The guitar riff was the best part. Cant wait to hear the full thing. Great find.

We dont know for sure that it is a comfirmed theme. S7 has used fan submitted video and emails for its "agenda" this could be one as well.

Seriously, now my biggest gripe with the movie is its faggy theme. It used to be no music in the clips, but those are probably old. The rest, my friend, is sarcasm and simple "poking-fun-at-something-it's-really-easy-to-poke-fun-at." I'll love the movie as long as that piece of sh1t theme doesn't appear.

alright, my misunderstanding. i personally like it since its different from the old 80s theme.

i agree with that. it oculd just be fan work but it sounds alittle too good to be fan work. and it also sounds like linkin park soo that may be a new part of a new theme.

The song started ok but then turned into the most embarrassingly horrible cheese fest I've heard in a long time and I listen to power metal. It was just as bad or maybe even a bit worse than the Cybertron theme. Lion beats this sorry excuse of a theme song six ways till Sunday even with the awesome 80's production.

I really hope this is fan made. Then I'd just say that the production wasn't half bad.

Hmmmmmmm...I spinned the track about 3 times, I guess they went closely with the Energon theme style of music?

Aint that bad actually, still missing something though...the oomph of a song associated with a big budget production...maybe needs an increased tempo or something? Who knows, it might actually grow on us...? I agree that some of the rap words are a bit cheesy...

I'd actually enjoy a slowed down, orchestral version. But I guess we'll have to live with what we've got. :-(

speaking of the song..............maybe it'll play near the end on bumblebee....like the autobots will save the day and be heroes, so they will have a song made within the movie...then bumblebee will play it and everyone will snrug their shoulders and say

"that's our bumblebee"

I still dont see why they left Jazz out. Even if his unconfirmed death does happen he should still be in it. Also the techno crap from cybertron needs to go and the D-Con name should be added to the song. That and more guitar riffs. At least this song is better than all the theme songs we've had in the past few TF lines. I still say Iron Maiden needs to to the theme.

Come on people, this is a place to come together and discuss Transformers and the movie. You are allowed to have opinions, but personal attacks and derailment is not tolerated.

Salazar and Phenotype you both need to take a step back and stop this arguement. If there is ever a problem with another member on the forum you need to send a PM to a Mod or Admin, you do not need to fill up 3-4 pages of derailment arguements.

I found it humorous that whomever sent the file in call themselves "Deceptibots" (or did the email mean that the IT department call themselves "Deceptibots"?) Can anyone find information on a group called "Deceptibot"?

The song itself I found a bit... amateurish? It would play well as a closing credit song, but as a THEME? Not so much, IMO... As for poor Jazz getting shafted out of getting named along with the other Autobots, well... I feel sorry for him!

Anyways, there was more to the update than just the email & song! While it might not interest everyone else, it is pretty interesting to me (and other people keeping track of the ARG!)...

1) Gravesen's image seems to 'glitch' frequently. It's done that in the past, but I chalked that up to their webcam transmission (Or bad acting/editing, for an out-of-game answer)... This time around, he's doing it quite a lot, and he repeats part of what he's saying... As if the camera were recording a pre-recorded message to us. Now, it's speculation on my part, but IF Gravesen is on Sector 7's Mobile Command Center, it's possible that something may have happened. We know that Frenzy is on the Mobile Command Center (as per the Seibertron.com exclusive photos), and he may have done something to Gravesen, and the image we're seeing could be a hologram being played by Frenzy, to make everyone else at S7 think that everything's 'fine and dandy' on the Mobile Command Center...

2)Updated time-lapsed image of the L.A. building-sized advertisement being put up... I thought the video was actually pretty cool to watch, and it's a shame that I missed out on it (living all the way in Minnesota that is)...

3)They've updated their "Annoyances" folder, this time adding images of: the StopSectorSeven MySpace page, an image of SSS's "GalaxyConvoy", wearing military fatigues brandishing the SSS logo, additional images of protesters outside of the Mobile Command Center, and someone's home-made T-shirt with a "FREE MEGATRON" motif on it...

All-in-all, a pretty neat update...

The song isn't all that great to me. I will say that I hate the music of Linkin Park and the Goo Goo Dolls, including their styles. Though, that's not my biggest gripe here. The guitar and the robot voice saying "Transformers" work for me, but it really is too close to the Energon theme to be considered for the movie. Plus, the whole listing of the Autobots (minus Jazz) thing is too much like the PokeRap. After playing it a few times the "Autobots are watching over you" line caught on with me, but the rapping is pretty bad.

Based on the majority of the content on the Sector 7 site, I would go with my gut and suspect this of being a fan made promo that was probably submitted to Paramount in an attempt to get into the movie (similar to what Stan Bush was reported as doing with his new original song). We, of course, don't know the results yet.

Overall, I would much rather prefer an orchestral theme compared to this. I give this attempt an "A" for effort, but a "C-" in execution.
