Designing other things like what? Like every other single TF line they have that are BETTER than these? Jeez I'd rather see more Marvel Crossovers than these...The SW crossovers have been consistantly awful since day one...At least the Marvel ones have the occasional gem...

Cut off both of the Crossovers and use your money on GOOD figures from the actual CANONNICAL SERIES!
No usless repaints(EG. Golfire Grimlock, Atomic Lugnut) and make redecos ONLY if nessesary like seekers and show-accurate characters.

Do this, lower the prices, and you wont be down 47 FU@#1N& PERCENT!!!

Yeah, these things are hideous. Who's great idea was it to make SW vehicles transform anyways? This line CAN'T be selling that well...why do they still make these things? Where is the market for them?
I hate all crossover toys tho. Lol.
(I say this knowing full well I still want the DeathStar/Vader lol. But THAT'S IT!

Y'know, I'dve so preferred these if they were Transformers that changed into Star Wars vehicles. Air Raid into an X-Wing, for example...

Taking that to it's logical conclusion, how about a SW Superion?

They kill other lines and keep this one running for how long now. 47% sales slump should be 70% given their lack of marketing savvy.

When Takara initially marketed the toys that would become Transformers, they met with failure, even though they were cool toys. With no characters and no story, no one cared.

These toys have no story. They don't fit in the Star Wars universe or the Transformers universe. If TF characters changed into SW vehicles, as fans have suggested many times, then there would be an intuitive story with well-known characters from both sides, even if Hasbro didn't release any supplemental fiction.

Also, they look awful. Poor design. Hasbro... why?

Menbailee is right. The Transformers brand became popular in the 80's only because they had a story and characters.

IMHO that Grimlock repaint looked WICKED!

wow, lot of negativity here. I know this line is producing some awkward, nonsensical figs, but bear in mind we collecters are not the target audience for these toys. These are targeted at young kids who dont care about a cool story, and will forgive the kible and gangly limbs. With a bit of luck, these same kids will then pick up some mainstream figs and inject some more cash-flow into the line we collecters do enjoy.

I suspect they keep making these because someone is buying them.

I have a couple, and the ones I have I like. There are a lot I didn't like, so I skipped them.

I really would have preferred, as someone mentioned, if they had transformed into TF characters. The Falcon would have been cool as Prime, seekers as TIE Fighters or something.

I redid the Imperial Shuttle/Palpatine (minus the wings) as Kup, and it turned out great!!!
