I was wondering what became of their Reflector homage.

If they make PCC limbs for Defensor I'm all in. That take on Bruty is pretty decent.

I'm happy enough with my PE Reflector but these guys look neat too.

Glad I waited with Reflector. I'm happy these will be coming out, they fit much better with my collection than the awesome PE ones.

Thing is, I was this close to buying them and the black repaint in one go, but damn they're just too small for my collection. It's a real shame too, because not only do they look awesome, especially with all their accessories, but they are fun to mess around with.
If only they where Deluxe or large Scout sized.

I will be... passing on both. The PE reflector is badass and my Devastator is fine as-is.

In my opinion Perfect Effect's SFX renders this thing redundant. Not too keen on the Herc upgrade anymore: makes him look far too top-heavy.

I agree on both fronts. I even display my PE with Hercules. Makes Herc look even more huge and kickass.

I have the PE special 'dark' edition, and, tbh, its too small - every time I take it out, I end up repacking it for fear of losing any parts!

So Viewfinder is bigger than Spyglass and Spectro? FAIL!

You do notice how Viewfinder is the only one standing upright while the other two are crouching?
When you're crouching you're lower tot he ground than when standing upright.

I'm pretty sure there are older pics that show the size difference a little better. Too lazy to look for them though. Size aside, I'm passing on them. Rage of Hercules=worthless IMO as well. It's cool they listened to the fan outcry but I think that set diminishes the exact thing that made their take on Devy unique.

When is this set due for release?

Except for the different heights of the robots, this set is looking VERY nice. My biggest concern at this point is that what ought to cost in the $100-$120 range will be somewhere closer to $200, given TFC's tendency to inflate their prices. I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise...

Well, I even giot the Iron Army so It's really going to come down to price. It looks great, I will want it but can I afford it in the blizzard of other 3rd party stuff I'm working through when the PE set - however small - is already on my shelf and doing a fine job by me?

I'd love a dead-on G1 Cartoon Masterpiece version, but I'm not holding my breath for that. In any case this looks fantastic.
