Always Guilty..."
It's weird that, since watching the '03 series. I'd forgotten how Very different the tone of the original cartoon was. Enjoy!

Always thought it would be a good idea to develop the other branches of the foot, who did shredder take down to become new yorks leader/who did he leave in charge of Japan and what about the other branches -but I guess that's what the pen and paper RPG was for, imagination.

I didn't pay any attention to splinters accessories when buying him, I just had to have the little guy. But the baby turtles and the ooze is really nice. Another mouser which I'll need to compare to the older ones at some point - I know I picked them up really cheap way back when.
Passing on the elite footsoldier, I just don't think I need all blue foot soldiers, it's not what comes to my mind when I think of them. Great troop builder just not for me. Nothing wrong with a blue man group but hey.

Now if only they could release mutant mayhem turtles as non screen accurate too then it might be steps in the right direction

The Technodrome and Sewer Playset among them. It's cool to look at the TMNT line and see how they went all in. Especially the wide variety of vehicles. I don't think modern toylines do that anymore? Let alone collectors lines.

Heatboys mecha design ideas for april. Dunno, seems a bit basic compared to their turtles and shredder? Some nice gimmicks.

Looks more like a G1 fembot than a giant war machine.

Really thought they'd get some of the figures that have been available in sets online like the other villains or the Toon Turtles but I guess they want to do something to tie in with the current movie. Only saw a few of Raph and Don, back of the package only shows the four turtles as available. Picked up the two since I don't have the originals.
Found Leo and Mikey at the same Walmart this morning so that's that.
Also, haven't seen it myself, but Retro Jay (a Canadian) posted a video of him going to a Target for the First time on his way to PowerCon and they had the Mutatin' Turtles figures at that store for $15 each. I see Mikey on Target.com, but that's all. Something new to hunt down, I don't have any of them.

Shame the movie figure releases aren't the same quality/materials as the originals (paint looks worse on the plastic compared to rubber) and that Splinter is still confusing (not movie weapons, not movie figure in a white robe). I'll still try to pick the movie figures up in the six pack just for a super shredder.
On the back of the packaging for wave 3? Of the playmates reissues it shows a rat king figure. If I'm figuring it out right, mutagen man and slash are the only others in exclusive sets (excluding the tmnt variants/super bebop/super rocksteady) so far. *forgot about mondo gecko and April and I'm guessing what is in another pack with the last two non retro turtles.

Yeah, Ratking is on the back of some of the packaging, but I haven't seen him in stores. I hope they do make Slash soon, the one I had as a kid got a lot of play and one of his blades broke off long ago. I remember the first time I saw Slash as a kid in stores and my mind being completely blown by the idea of an evil turtle, I had to have him. Shame the cartoon did everything they could to ruin him, but the Archie comics corrected a lot of that.
If they reissue Mutagen Man hopefully they include all of his accessories, unlike the box version...

Slash (with weapons rack unlike the glow in the dark version pandering to playmates) if Playmates dont release him seperately it will be no loss and I'll probably pass on Necas adventures figure now.
Leatherhead, i didnt buy the reissue as i was going to get the box set but seeing as they really shortchanfged mutagen I'll just be skipping it. i had th original figure and it suffered from being a bit small so i'm happy to skip the retro and have this guy.
Ray Fillet, he will join my NECA toon figures on display.
I'll have to check out reviews on s7 wingnut but the how they did the wings connections on ace duck are leaning me towards NECA.

Leatherhead is definitely by gumbo though.
Also got around to opening the neutrinos. Uk needs target, but instead we get Wendys (for a second attempt at trying to make it over here). Not quite sure I trust the pegs not to snap in the feet so no hover boarding for now. Kinda regret selling bobs car from reboot as it would probably have worked well with them.
Nearly finished season 2 of tmnt2003, I forgot how much better turtles is when zero kevins are involved.
I'm thinking of arm switching between Necas Mirage footsoldier and saki/yoshi spare sleeveless arms might make them look more like the packaging art/comic art I'm used to, if it will work. Even Necas box art has thenm with different arm gaurds rather than wraps.

2003 might be getting some joy from super7 ultimates.
Karai/in shredder suit would be my main want, neca might get around to doing a tmnt (4) version.

I'm upto season 5 of tmnt 2003 thanks to youtube. It's interesting to see afterall the mirage comic stories and nods to other things the toon was based off and then how it was used for ideas in other tmnt (tmnt, last ronin, bay movies).
Even the few wayward designs in it I'm generally okay with (garbage man/not muckman, donatello/not slash, baxter/not mutagen man, scumbug just a monster, usagis rhino friend dressing as rocksteady) apart from rat king - fair enough his almost traditional look was still in the show.
2003 figures had a pretty good wide selection of releases and there can't be much that wasn't released. Thee turtles figures themselves not being smaller than the humans probably the biggest downside over limited articulation.
But for the Super7 ultimate figures to stand out is something, over why pay that much for something that can be had cheaper. Maybe they can include parts to have them changable between two looks and maybe tempt buyers into purchasing two of the same figure, eg:
turtles/fast forward versions,
foot soldier/karais foot soldier,
Splinter/burnt splinter
Stalker/monster
Hamato yoshi in traditional garb/Bruce Lee yellow black - just to annoy Bruce Lee company on that since they were content to let a licensed crowd funder rip people off :p

Screw the I created everythiiing man Stan yayayayayyayay. Undercover job interview Casey is a must for me. The TMNT 3 turtles figures in two packs -hopefully they come with everything the exclusive pack did and get April to go with them or secret of the ooze april.
Super7s Triceraton is looking good too. As much as I mmight dislike Eastman it would be nice if they did the Eastman and Laird police officers from TMNT 2003. Just keep it to the cartoon likeness so Eastamn doesnt get further royalties XD

Might as well be NECA fair because their stuff seems to be the highlight (not enough bullet holes in officer murphy for my liking, someone should give him a hand....medic! Def buying it, for more than a dollar). Of course I'm ignoring the joytoy stuff because it's too cool
Ironstudios usually has a wow factor, but not this time. Maybe if they were using better designs for the turtles might help and their not quite chibi but sure as expensive funko lookalikes doesnt work for me. Their none tmnt stuff I would pretty much walk by with out giving a glance and they have had some incredible statues over the previous years.

Apparently Playmates brought a bunch of TMNT stuff, but would only allow pictures for the Mayhem stuff.

And looks like the NECA SDCC pack of TMNT 3 is the way to go for all the time scepters and alternative heds with them not being included in the two packs.
