They're proving to be quite the treasure for the collectors of the Transformers: Animated line, but that hasn't stopped Seibertron from adding them to his long list of photo galleries! Those are some nice figures. I'll hopefully be able to find an Arcee, and if he's ever released, I'll get the Ironhide version of the Cybertron Ratchet mold.

TRU can KMA... I hope the damned red faced Japanese version of Arcee doesn't have stressed thumb syndrome at least. Figures the one Japanese figure I get stuck having to buy is the less desirable version.

I'm looking forward more to the next figures we'll be seeing from Animated, but I'm starting to think about Arcee. Though, she still seems totally overrated.

And these two are still impossible to find! There's only one TRU that near me and it barely has any Animated left. Most of it is just a few Activators and maybe three deluxes that nobody wants.

The thumb issue not withstanding, I really like the figure. She's dreeeeeeeeammmy.

Oddly enough we never saw any Animated Blackarachnia repaints. I wonder if any Arcee repaints will appear (Elita-1?).

So, fill me in...has Hasbro bumped the full release of Arcee? No joke, I shopped every TRU in Iowa, and all in the greater Chicago area in mid-March and came up empty. I've seen word of a May 1 re-release. What's the dealio? I have a 9 month old daughter and 5 year old niece that MUST have these. Oh, and 3 for myself...

Yeah, Arcee's a bombshell. Can't wait to pick up 3 and repaint two of them into Moonracer and Chromia.

Which would be silly because we are getting Animated Hot Rod (Rodimus Minor) anyways.

While we've seen Arcee and CM Ratchet for quite sometime, there's still the 'official' release of the two in May. So don't lose hope yet! [/color]

Where does this May release info come from? I would very much prefer to get the Hasbro version over the Takara one, especially at retail vs import prices, but I really don't want to pass on the Takara chance while its price is semi-affordable if this turns out to be hogwash. And yes, I am very pleased for having just used the word 'hogwash'.

Same here, I just pre-ordered mine because it was at least $10 cheaper in total than Ebay

That and I refuse to pay those scalpers a dime. I haven't seen any pics of her Jap. colorings, is it really that bad? I hate this though, doesn't Hasbro relize I wan to waste my money on this fig just as much as anyone else? :evil:

Just makes me upset for Rodimus, I REALLY want that one. By then who knows when the Jap. one will be comming out. It really puts me in a bind :sad:

If this figure still comes out in reasonable quantities, I'll take back my 'KMA' to TRU...unless of course it happens after I've already ordered the Takara one. Here's a copy of the worthless note I got from them when I inquired about its availability on the site or future availability in stores:

I thought the Takara one looked closer to red than pink, but the worst part about it is how dark her face is on the Takara...unless they were bad pics or it wasn't the final version, it just didn't look as good. Not terrible, but doesn't make you feel better about having to pay the import prices for an inferior fig.

I vote to get the original out there a little more widely before we move on to a repaint or retool, but that's just me.
