Seeing as how we had not known about Swindle, Skywarp, or Waspinator, I thought this might be interesting.

It sure would be nice if we had more details to confirm this, but at time it is simply a rumor, but fun to comtemplate nonetheless!

YES! I heard a rumor Waspinator might be in animated, I just hope 3 things for his show apperance:
1.Scott McNeil voices him
2.Waspy refers to himself in the 3rd person
3.He's Animated's new punching bag(current one is Tutor Bot)
I was also hoping they would make a Wreck-Gar toy. I wonder if Swindle will be a G1 homage in either looks, personality/bio, or both.

Wuh? Huh? Wah? Waspinator? I saw the others coming a mile away, but not Waspinator. As much as I hate animated I have to say I love that they’re bringing back some of the seemingly forgotten characters like old Waspinator, even if he‘ll look horrible.

These are all awesome choices to add to Animated.
And, hey, look, Wreckgar will be a voyager. That's cool. Garbage trucks are big, so that's appropriate. Just hope he's not a short and bulky voyager like Bulkhead.

Sadly unlikely. Scott did an interview a short while ago, in which he said he was already aware that Waspinator would be in the show but that he had not been contacted to reprise the role.

An Animated Skywarp? Nice! Seeing how he didn't make it into the movie line, it figures Animated Starscream would get repainted into him. I guess this means no Animated Thundercracker? And I can't wait to see what Waspinator looks like. Should be cool.

I'm going to be so broke by the end of the year.

I just hope there's plenty of black on him. I didn't like the purple block of Cybertron Skywarp, and I could do without another bright white Skywarp, I have Machine Wars Skywarp for that.
