Funny how we went from the movie designs, that many complain are too complex and busy, straight to this style, which is apparently too simple.

This is what I feared, and the worst part is not the crap looking cartoon, but rather the toys that will truely look like they are made for " 5 year olds " We can only hope and pray that while this new crap kiddy toy line is out next year, that they give older fans something in the line of classics or alts or titaniums because if not, 2008 will be pure torture for TF fans over 5 years old.. I couldnt be any more disgusted with this turn of events for our beloved TF universe.. I mean why the hell cant they just bring back the makers of the G1 cartoon to make a new show, why must everything be geared to 5 year olds more and more these days..

Funny how we're only 2 weeks away from the release of the live-action movie, a movie that has dominated the fandom and its news for at least 2 full years, and yet the busiest thread on this site isn't even about that!

I like it. It's simple, and lends itself to a wide range of motion. Having that turn into a fairly convincing semi-truck wouldn't be too difficult. I'd imagine the toys will add detail left out of the animation model.

I'm excited.

i'm deff not watching it if the show is craply animated like this picture is

Megatron turns into one of those Arm ban things from YU-Gi-OH to hold the card that Soudwave will throw at the autobots. You what Will make this totally awesome if the Transformers Rap. and Solve mysteries in 22 minute sperts.

I'm not making any judgement til I see more character designs and then the actual animation. I remember seeing just the flat 2-D designs for "Batman: The Animated Series" back in a Wizard magazine in 1992. I wasn't too keen on them until the premiere of the first episode. I was totally stoked thereafter. At least they are keeping the G1 classics look.

oh my series should prove to be intersting animation look has that starwars episode 3 look clone wars series from cartoonnetwork style.

That picture is animated? Gee, I don't see any movement. It looks like a drawing to me.

If I were suicidal I would kill myself. It had better have one darn good story if Hasbro expects me to watch this. Some things should NEVER be influenced by Bruce Timm. And this is a shoddy Bruce Timm based style at that. My apologies to both the people that actually like this bold new style, or the artists that think it looks "cool" but this is disgusting.
