Haha! Yeah! And plus, these are on toys we might never get. Maybe the out of reach factor and the mystery surrounding their existence is what makes us latch on. I actually think these are the best attempt at simplifying TFs for younger kids, compared to the other kid stuff Hasbro has been pushing lately. These are the same size and price as the flip and change products and I think they are a huge leap from those.

I think because, otherwise, these guys just look so awesome. They are designed well and have a great aesthetic to them. It just seems like sometimes Hasbro can't go 100% awesome with stuff. They have a quota of 80-90% awesome and cant go further.
Thats they way I feel. I do hope these see North America release though.
While I love G1 I also love new innovations and takes on the characters.
I prefer official Hasbro releases of stuff for the most part
I'm not a huge fan of Japanese original Transformers media or designs.
It's easier for me to say which are my LEAST favorite toy lines: Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise.
TFCon List: Classics Skywarp, General Optimus, BW Airrazor, Transmetal Tarantulus, Alternity Prime, Fire Convoy

Truck mode looks a bit simplistic and "kiddie". Looks a bit like an Optimus Garbage truck.

Hey, everyone who wanted G1 back, here you go!
Seriously, though, my impression of these is that they're meant to offer larger figures at lower prices, so I'll give them a pass on cost-cutting until I'm given a reason to think this isn't meant as the budget line.

A canadian TFW2005 user, osenator (I wonder who he's rooting for in the playoffs), was on a trip to Brazil and took the opportunity to buy the 11 inch Generations Cyber Optimus Prime and take pictures of him. These are the very first in hand pictures of any toy from this line, which has yet to be confirmed for a release outside of Brazil. The user also confirmed that, as was guessed, this Optimus does not have knees.
Just got to me, he reminds me of Powermaster Optimus Prime for the knee-less legs and Starconvoy for the vehicle mode.

Guessing it's because some here are not buying the Rid2015 toys.

The Warrior class figures are pretty solid, with a couple of standouts (Drift and Strongarm), and the Legion class toys are a lot of fun.
As for this, Optimus is actually a decent looking figure, much nicer than I expected. Knees would be nice, but he looks like a great TOY for a young kid. Sure, he's hollow, but it keeps the price from being outrageous.
My oldest son might end up getting this guy.

While these toys are currently available at Brazillian retail (both brick and mortar and online), there is still no current indication that these will be released elsewhere, aside from listings on Hasbro's main website in American dollars.

Speculating some sites will sell these.
Disappointed that Eleven Bumblebee has no bending knees.

I've tried doing every conceivable search possible for these. I can't find them. FYI there is no eBay Brazil either.

I still think that if this is meant as the kiddie line, the toys would bear more of a resemblance to what the kids would have seen recently, rather than G1, which matters more to the grown-ups. Since they'd have to pay licensing fees for the movie bots, that'd probably mean toys loosely based on the various offshoots of Alligned continuity. But I'm not a marketing expert, so what do I know?
