Quick question: do any of you guys remember the Space Warriors: Transformable Beast-Tech Fighter line that Big Lots carried a few years back? And if so, do you have any idea what the translucent dinosaur men that came with the figures come from? I've been Google searching and jumping around through the archives, but I can't seem to locate that tidbit of information! I'd swear someone here knew back in the day.

Re: New Transformers Knockoff Thread
I've had these knockoffs for a few months, now, but as I just joined this forum.. Yesterday, I figured I'd share them now.

I know this particular brand of knockoffs have been on ebay a few times, but I find the english packaging particularly amusing.

The names make me giggle.
I also found these minicon knockoffs at a local dollar store; sadly, I couldn't find the other two listed on the side. Though, the 'gryphon' came in two different color schemes. Kind of. Same colors, just switched. Only one is pictured here, though.

Hey guys some help please? I'm interested in searching and buying a Reflector set either fairly new or farily not so used. What can I look for or ask for to make sure it's the real deal G1 and not a knock off? Please help and thanks to all in advance.

Re: New Transformers Knockoff Thread
I was in the local Chinatown today and saw another one of the Super Change ones.
Though, I'm trying to figure out exactly what this is a knockoff of. I know it's got to be a Bumblebee or Cliffjumper of some sort, but which make? That giant arm throws me off.

My curious mind demands to know what this is a specific knockoff of. XD
..Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a movie Skids with a Classics Bumblebee head. It could be the fast action battler version of Skids.

Nope, just a veeeeery simplified version of deluxe skid, most car panel/body are mold togather, not even nice to pose. In short, crap

Found these guys in a local dollar store.

I am highly amused by the 'Cybertron' label on the bottom of the package.
Sorry about the plastic glare.

I have never seen the KO of CD Hotshot before, looks like they simplified his arms.

I've only got a few G1 KO's. They are all made by Zhong Jin and come from China. They are really well made and look almost exactly like the originals, but still have flaws. All of them have less than perfect stickers.
I have:
Wheeljack (the paint comes off easy)
Dinobot Snarl (great quality)
Reflector (doesn't stay connected in camera mode so well)
Mirage (with 2 right fists)
Springer (again, the paint comes off easy)
I still plan to get Sunstreaker, Prowl, Octane and maybe Swoop and Sludge. I recommend these only if you can't get the originals. High quality for a KO!

Re: New Transformers Knockoff Thread
I got that Cybertron Excillion KO recently as part of a 2-pack. They also had sets with Movie Barricade, Cybertron Thundercracker, Cybertron Starscream, Cybertron Megatron. Movie Jazz was on the packaging.
They're all oversized versions of the Legends figures. Most are Basic size but Megatron is slightly larger.
Getting them repainted in their proper colours though I'm tempted to get some more Excillion/Hot Shot to get repainted as Hot Shot, Movie Breakaway, Classics Bumblebee and Red Alert.
The Basic size really syits the mold. It looks nice alongside the Diaclones and other Basic cars.

I gotta admit, that's one tempting KO. Never been more tempted to pay for those overpriced KO Golds than I was when I first saw that.
