Are these news, or ancient history? Considering the availability of Thundercracker and Ramjet, they hardly seem worthwhile, but an avid collector might feel happy to find Thrust or "Sunstrom." If these appear at a lower price, I might consider those two.

Honestly, I haven't seen any of the cool and/or rare knockoffs -- most of what I come across are the standard cheap Big Lots/Family Dollar/Dollar Tree fare. As always, though, I will keep my eyes peeled!

I just picked this up from Big Lots last night:



The mold is a bit off and the pastic is shoddy. Also, as far as I know, the head doesn't turn like the original Lio Convoy. I think I might want to repaint this to look like the original.

In the BW Wave1, there was a lion called Prowl, if I'm correct.

Yes, I think that's what they were thinking of. SOmetimes knockoffs call him Prowl, and sometimes they call any bat "Optimus Primal", because there was an Optimus Primal bat. Once I saw Beast Machines Nightscream called Optimus Primal.

This KO looks more like the robot master lio convoy, IMO.

I wish the Big Lots near me had one of these. Oh well, since I already have a RM lio convoy, i probably will pass anyways.

I've seen the fire engine variant of Onslaught before on ebay, but it's been over a year since it was last there. I wish I had purchased it. There is also a dump truck variant of Onslaught out there, in fact Cook Brothers in CHicago advertises it among their toys.

impressive that even with the huge amount of boring looking KOs of the combaticons someone has managed to make some interesting ones. The all truck team looks cool, actually having viable disguises for everyday travel, and if I didn't like red fire truck Onslaught before (which I did) the last pic with his "I'm Optimus Prime, honest guv!" chest plate makes me wuv him.

I find it both a little cute and a little disturbing to know that the otherwise decent Aramada Optimus has a locket with a picture of his more famous brother in it.
