I have the Family Dollar scout-sized Victory Saber, and it's wonderful. The jets are a little loose jointed.

Are the Robot Masters KOs decent quality? Particularly the Victory Saber 2-pack? Would you say the quality is better or worse than the actual Robot Masters versions(since those aren't so great to begin with.)

Er... with it being a knockoff, I'd say the quality is probably worse than the actual Robot Masters versions. The plastic is kinda cheap and potentially delicate -- mine even came with the sword handle broken off in the package.

That said, $3 isn't a bad deal for two transforming robots that combine! So if you're okay with knockoffs, I'd recommend the set. I'd probably pay an absolute maximum of $5 for it, though -- so don't go getting it on eBay! :)

Here are some knockoffs from the backs of a box a recently acquired. The names are pretty funny.

Garfitor??????

There is no semblance of 'giraffe' in that name. Sounds more appropriate for a Garfield Transformer.

I found this seller on eBay, but I'm not sure if he's legit. His record is perfect with 100% feedback but what are the odds of him having ALOT of non-applied sticker Transfomers. I was mainly interested in Bruticus but when I started asking questions about two of the Bruticus's he had, he flatly stop responding. Well i only asked him two questions, seems a little fishy to me, have you guys had this kind of experience before.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I patiently await not wanting to get ripped off. :???:

Who's the seller? And are you asking how to tell if he's selling knockoffs, or if particular items are knockoff versions, or what? More info, please.

If you mean swimmistcn, though, he clearly says that these aren't originals. The words "China" and "reissue" together are pretty much synonymous with "knockoff".

Ok here goes, well he does specify that they are all originals and that they are not knock offs, so I guess I am asking if they are or not.

Hopefully I do not affend the guy, especially if he's on this forum.

From my own experiences on e-bay,(5-year account),I can give you this advice,if you ask a question about any items for sale,no matter how specific, and you dont get a response, dont waste your time or money.Remember,e-bay is based on the idea that you're getting exactly what you pay for and although there are people out there that try to rip you off, fortunatly there's still honest sellers as well and thats who you want to deal with.

Giant size Seacons? Having been lucky enough to get oversized G1 and G2 Bruticus, I'd love to get an oversized Piranacon. My new Grail!
Would look great with my 2 Bruticus and Predakings (original and KO).

Nobody's found the giant-zised Snaptrap that would complete the set, unfortunately. Trust me, I've been searching/still am searching for him. If I find him, then those other five giant seacons are a must...

I mean I would like to think that most of these unapplied sticker Transformers where not KO's but I can't really be for sure unless they are stamp with Takara 1984-85 or Hasbro?!

He does have a 100% feedback though...

Does anyone here have this Liokaiser KO gift set. I just wanted to know how the quality is, because I don't an extra $500 bucks for a real one.

That excillion is ok though it's a bit stiff on the leg but still worth paying (I bought it for RM10 so maybe about USD3)

There others to like buzzsaw(average), dirtboss(great), blur(below average), override(great!!) and stormjet/afterburner (the color is way off) and also armada optimus without trailer
All of them doesn't have force chip and special weapon mechanism.

Here my picture of some of them (sorry the picture is quiet small)
http://images.azranct.multiply.com/image/3/photos/11/600x600/7/03102007285.jpg?et=JX98mXUEctE%2BADlC0MqyAA

And the LioKaizer are perfect except the absent of one of the jet/left hand and replace by the tank like robot.
That hand is toooo short which look aaaawfully weird. And I think there's no breast-shield-thing for all of them

To Skiman, when you buy a K.O. transformer you have to remember that it might look like an original, even down to the dates printed on the plastic, its still a K.O..Iv'e bought these myself on e-bay and though the quality is usually good, there are still, though minor, flaws on the toy.As I stated before,if you have any questions about something that youre going to spend your money on,even if you dont think its important but still wonder about it,ASK!You also have to consider that theres a risk involved, even if the picture of the item looks good, that youre buying plastic junk so before you shell out the green stuff, the moola, the bling-bling,the cashola, the swag, the bread, the payola,etc.,etc.,make sure you know what youre paying for.And to all Cybertronions everywhere,HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I found that Liokaiser knockoff to be fine. Doesn't fall apart. Of course it's missing the Breastmaster partners, but that doesn't effect their combined mode at all.

That's great. I've kinda wanted a LioKaiser of some kind. This looks more than suitable for the display case.

Hi everyone-

i'm an old-school KO collector, been at it for 10 years now. I have a very horrible website i haven't updated in awhile, lol. i've been back into collecting KO after a couple years hiatus preparing to go back to college.

http://www.geocities.com/kidk0rrupt/frames/bootlegs

love how international this thread is compared to other forums.

i have a small stock of OLD/RARE KO stuff i would love to trade for similar old/rare stuff from korea and taiwan, just email or PM me if you want to work out a deal. seems lots of you guys have really good stuff.

about the giant seacons, they are not THAT much bigger...about 1.2 the size of the originals, just barely oversized. the mold is from a very old and rare "giant" piranacon from the 90s. so far they have not made snaptrap yet but the original knockoff has a FACE:

Image

there is also this old/rare 1:1 KO made of bad plastic:
