The recently released TakaraTomy versions of the Universe Ultras labeled “Universe USA edition” have all received gallery treatment in the Toy Gallery section! All the figures sport an more G1 accurate color scheme, which you can see by clicking on the following links.

These releases just make the Classics versions look embarrassing.

I bought all three USA editions when they came out and they were well worth the extra money.

Got Powerglide and Onslought from Robotkingdom the day they were up for sale. Love those guys..

Those figures probably would never have seen a regular release in Japan (I suspect because of size and/or because of electronics), so they would be "USA only". Since they're "USA only", but still desirable, Takara repainted them and slapped "USA Edition" on them for release in Japan.

I know, they're weird...
