i bought from http://www.bigislandtoys.com for $59.00 the penultimate [next to last] mini optimus prime toy. its the one that has been in production of a FEW qauntities and i am lucky to find one in great shape, and the boxed version [even though the box, the one the whole thing has been opened already before i did] is opened, it comes with a small boxed version/figure. discription:
01 convoy transformers
has optimus prime g1 picture on the box
its MIMSB [min in min and sealed box]
and on the back it has g1 characters and stuff.
and it comes with a loose version without the trailer as the MISMB one comes with a trailer, but the loose one is 100% mint, and NO chrome/paint wear. the boxed one is i dunno i have to look again but at least c9.1+ but i know its in probably better shape than that.

yeah well even though its a reissue its still rare because few were made. why does everyone have to find some reason in my posts to say anything bad about it? in everyone of my topics someone starts in.

1.) It's not a reissue.

2.) It's a plastic statue about the size of AAA battery (if that) for $80.00 that's ridiculous. (Not you, the store)

3.) I can't speak for others, but I can say that posts like the one where you just yelled like you did, don't help to ingratiate you with the rest of the community and that tends to make people not give any respect when you post again because they don't know if you'll act like this again.

If you enjoy it, great. If others don't, that's great too. You have to remember that. Not everyone shares the same tastes that you do, and you've no right to criticize or yell at them for it.

And before you say anyone did that to you here, park that idea at the door. We criticized the item itself, the cost and the store for the ridiculous price. Not you.

well the loose one cant transform but that doesnt mean its a statue. the one in the box i know it can transform because i can see how it can.

It's cool cause you can transform it and make it bigger or smaller.

IT cannot transform. It was part of a "history" line Takara put out in 2004 I think. They made mini versions of a bunch of their famous toys. The box is pink and has mostly dolls on it, so not many guys went after it for the Prime. There is a robot mode Prime loose, a replica of his G1 toy box with a truck and trailer mode inside, and a reprint of the '85 Japanese catalouge in it.

I know this because my brother works at a comic shop, and they were clearing out old inventory last month, and he found a ripped box (which means severe clearance sale) and it happened to be this one. He paid $3 and brought it home to me, and I vaugely remembered where it came from and had to do some research to remember. Cool little collectible. NOT worth $80, unless someone would like to buy mine for that much.

Really, mine's even more rare, it's got the pink box for the outside too!

Actually, when I got it the first thing I did was scour auction sites to see if I could unload it for something ridiculous as the Convoy collectors were going rabid for them when it first came out. I think it'll have to travel to cons with me until I can find a good trade for it, as I mainly collect Jazz, Hot Rod, and Shockwave stuff.
