I didn't think the Seahawks were doing so well, maybe pre season, but that doesn't count and once Hasselbeck and Totupu were injured....psssshhh

What's that I hear? I hear the season in the toilet.

I'm still sticking with them, but their schedule DOESN'T get any easier....

San Diego may not be the powerhouse everyone predicted them to be, but thy are starting to get the job done. It will be an interesting couple of weeks here just to see if they are who everyone thought they would be.

Only 2 games out of first with 8 games to go, we are in a lot better position than we were last year. Will denver have a monumental collapse 2 years in a row? I sure as hell hope so.

I'm exaggerating, but it is really a disenchanting experience seeing your two favorite teams getting killed every week. Cleveland lost by 24 and Jacksonville lost by 17.

Nah...we sucked before he got here. I call it the Ron Turner Effect. I'd like to make a motion to ban Ron and Norv Turner from the NFL. I can tell you exactly what his game plan is: run run pass punt. Run run pass punt. Run run pass punt. Oh...and we have zero offensive lineman. They couldn't protect Blurr from a rush of snailbots. Oh, and no running game. And no wide recievers. Our defense is old and injured. The Bears consist of precisely two players: Jay Cutler and Devon Hester. And 51 scrubs that wouldn't be starting on any other team in the league except the Browns or Raiders. Need I remind you that Chicago hasn't had a franchise QB since Sid Luckman (1939-1950).

Colts and Saints are only unbeatens left, wow. Colts however are severely lacking because of all the injuries they've had. I doubt they will go 10-0.

As far as comeback im talking about the season for San Diego.

Were 3 games out and Denver was superstrong, Noew Denver is definately beatable going into the meat of the schedule and currently we are 1.5 games out hoping to close to 1 after tomorrow and keep rolling from there.

Meh, whatever, San Diego always does that. They've got too much fire power to have a sub-par record. It'll be fun seeing how the AFC West finishes out this season... both teams should be in the playoffs come December.

Don't mess with Mike Smith.

I'm glad we got rid of DeAngelo Hall. He cost the Falcons quite a bit back in the day. He's a punk with no class. He even said he's going to complain to the Commissioner about the confrontation with Mike Smith. this wans't his confrontaiotn to begin with but he's clearly sore over getting cut becuse Smith saw what he was to the Falcons and cut him as Mora should have done years ago. Hall needs to do what most football players would do, let it go.

Rapid fire...Week 9...

There's some weird stuff going on out there...

Washington still is bad. Props to them for matching their season high in points for the season...I think Michael Turner outscored them by himself. Atlanta gets back in the W column...just keeping pace at this point.

I lament my Bears. The only good thing that can come out of that game: the overall personnel depth has been exposed big time...and that falls solely on the shoulders of Jerry Angelo. The defensive play calling was bad. At this point the Bears should keep Brad Maynard, Robbie Gould, and Jay Cutler and liquidate the rest of the team. If Arizona makes the Super Bowl they're guaranteed to win...it's on the road!

Looks like Baltimore was playing over their heads last week. Cincinnati beat em easily this week. THe Bengals close in on their second winning season since Bill CLinton was in office. The Ravens D is finally starting to show its age, I think.

Indianapolis maybe needs to be nervous now. They almost lost to Houston. HOUSTON! Injuries are killing them now...they will make the playoffs, but won't get far. Houston is FINALLY showing some progress...then again, having high draft picks every year HAS to pay off eventually.

Jacksonville beat KC. Nobody noticed.

The Patriots got some revenge for that butt kicking Miami gave em last year when they unveiled the Wildcat. However, the Pats still have some reason to be concerned. They still don't look dominant.

The only thing that brightened my day after CHicago got stomped was the fact the TAMPA BEAT THE PACKERS. The Packers lost to a WINLESS team. The only way that could have been topped was if the Phillies had beaten the Yanks in the Series. Oh yeah, those Creamsicle uniforms just rock. I'm trying to decide whose offensive line is worse: the Bears or the Packers. It's a toss up right now...

The Saints continue to find ways to win. That team impresses me. Great balance of run and pass, good defense. Oh yeah, like 90% of teams to start 8-0 go to the Super Bowl. Carolina has reason to worry about their QB position I think...just not looking right.

Detroit lost. Surprise surprise. Hey, is John Kitna available to QB them? 5 picks huh? FOr a second I thought Jake Delhomme had been traded...

The Chargers lucked into a win. No other way to say it. They continue to underachieve...and I will continue to blame Norv Turner. I am beginning to wonder just how much the Giants are missing Plaxico Burress right now...that familiar rapport had to make a difference.

The Titans won their second in a row. Was Vince Young all they needed to turn things around? Who knows...can they completely turn their season around? Why not...they did it last year! B-)

Chargers didnt luck into anything. Classic case of doing more with less, due to that 1 drive that never would end giants ended up with twice as much posession time as san diego and still lost.

Many people say the chargers are one of the best at the 2 minute drill and it showed today. New york is a very capable team that is on a skid and fortunately for San Diego it continues. Manning was on point with alot of his throws they just came up with the short end of the stick .
