Ship mode is the cool and a lot of fun.

Here's a poopy pic of the pose from "are all dead" I'm trying to ape.

Other than G1 and MP what are the other good Shockwave options?

I have Prime - he's a scary beast, but not the most iconic looking.

The wee legends one from PW3.

FoC - I like him a lot actually, but still not the best fit for CHUG

3P model one as well - Warbatron I think?

I'm being lazy and it makes a better convo if I don't go to the wiki. So who else we got?

I've never handled that Shockwave, but I'm going to have to give that honor to Siege Shocky. If I ever get the MP mold I'll see if I change my mind.

Animated Shockwave doesn't quite have that iconic look and seems to be missing the pew pew arm. Seems like a neat toy (double agent stuff), but wouldn't fit in with my collection.

So what makes AniWave the best Shockwave?

Side note: I just remembered another Shockwave I have - Contruct-Bots. It's aight for what it is after fanforming him a gun arm.

Part of it has to do with my general lack of Shockwaves. I have the animated, Prime, CW legends, and movie ones, and that is it for Waves.

But AniWave can do so much more and is really unique for what he can do that almost no one else can. The double spy gimmick with him is insanely fun, considering the little lumpy bot going to the tall and scary con with the claws. Not to mention the head transformation is really cool. He's pretty posable, has a giant cannon, and his alt mode is really modular, enabling all kinds of fun fan modes.

In short, he's not just the boring old scientist; he's the double spy that can move and groove.

To be honest though, I don't own a Wave I don't like, though the Prime one is my least favorite of the group

What kind of scientist do you hang out with to consider Shockwave "boring" :lol:

PrimeWave isn't the most fun thing to play with, but damn he looks good on a shelf.

Siege is my top Shockwave for several reasons. Foremost, basic bot mode; second, combined ship mode; third, he's a construction set

Whelp, I've gone and hitched my wagon to the Wei Jiang Model Wizard Predaking wagon. If I have my facts straight the combined mode is called Sky Soarer. This guy is War Eagle aka Divebomb. These will be 1:1 PotP KOs with some small improvements here and there.

Dude is huge with an 18" wingspan! Too big for my poster board :lol:

You may have noticed the combiner fist.

It's nice.

I added some faction stickers. As per usual with these releases, it came with some dry rub type of stickers that didn't fit the spaces available except for the bot chest. Repro to the rescue. I also spun his feet around backwards to only have talons in bird mode.

Waiting patiently for the rest of his team to show up to the party.

Just saying, Roadhandler is my favorite Micromaster of Wave 1. He is a ton of fun, which is good cause Stakeout is the main Micromaster I am looking for!

Looks like notifications dropped off for me, Cary! But everyone pitched in with their favorite 'Waves. My personal faves are Animated (for the double-spy aspect), G1, Shockblast (for ridiculousness lol), and the CW Legends figure (for his scale, colors). I would say Siege may be my eventual go-to, but my MP happens to be a KO, so I don't treat it quite the same as the real deals....but I love him all the same.

I WANNA HAVE THE PREDAKING TOUCH of Infinity!
