I was over at the Siege UM thread at TFW getting some inspiration for in trailer weapon storage. I was so close but I didn't think to flip the shoulder pauldrons upside down.
The silver rifle is just sitting in there and rattles a bit. It can also take the place of one of the black pistols, but I'm a sucker for symmetry. The pistols can also be reversed and the rocket launchers can be slide in, but I feel those are iconic to UM's vehicle mode look.
You do loose a pegged connection but it doesn't seem make a difference.
I'm generally not a fan of the black pistols. They look weird in hand and are pretty hollow on one side, but I do like them underslung on the trailer. Looks pretty badass.

Guess I'll give UM a little break and show Soundwave some love. This is easily the second best Soundwave figure I own. Really only the MP outshines it, but Siege SW does a few things better.
Fresh out of the box and mistransformed with his shoulder thingies showing.
Every good Soundwave should be able to push his own eject button.
Alt mode is a little wonk, but I dig it.
I love lamp... post!

Megatron got some wonderful new toys today.
The sword is just plain gorgeous
The set also came with Reflector and some binoculars. I'm guessing the other thing is an alternate hilt for the sword. The alt hilt is square-ish and has a peg and fits his hand quit nicely, but the default round handle seems to work just fine. So who knows.
