Yeah them nendoroids are awesome. Link is my first, but I'd highly recommend them. They have some for just about any flavor your into: mostly anime, a few vidjo gamez (the MGS one looks boss), movies (Star Wars, Frozen), and I've seen a few super heroes (Batman/Joker, Ironman).itscramtastic wrote:I have both of them on my "Action Figures" Wish List on Amazon!! I've got the Mega Man and Toon Link amiibo figures (along with Sonic and regular Link) and was pretty excited when I saw those!!
Can't wait!carytheone wrote: Don't be too surprised if HB shows up in this week's photo challenge.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
The new Disney Infinity figures are pretty sweet, almost picked up Sam Flynn and Quorra just to have them!! I probably still will, I love me some TRON and TRON: Legacycarytheone wrote:Yeah them nendoroids are awesome. Link is my first, but I'd highly recommend them. I've been nabbing a few amiibos myself; got Mega Man (obvs), toon Link, Pacman and Toad. I've also picked up a couple Disney infinity guys; Groot and Hulkbuster ironguy. Don't be too surprised if HB shows up in this week's photo challenge.
Oh, I thought you said you had the helmut. I see now. Yeah, I remember that 25th anni one, looked sweet!itscramtastic wrote:The lighted helmet DID look cool. I had to pre-order the one I got, his helmet and arm canon lit up and the base did too just like on the helmet stand alone later release. He looked great, I was just sad it had no articulation (even though I knew he wasn't articulated).

Glad you all are around for a distraction.
Your sweet little Link reminded me that some where I have some neat little windwaker figures somewhere. I have to find them so I can show you guys.

I use a crazy turducken of a camera, a chamera if you will, a homemade light box (dubbed the "Ballin' Bot Booth" by Cram; trademark pending) and some cheap desk lamps. I just beat my way through each shot honestly and then pick up my slack using gimp.
But let's give credit where credit is due. You've got some skills and some nice pics over in your neck of the woods as well. Ever consider coming to play at the craziness that is the weekly photo challenge?

Sometime next week end. I'm planning on another two week limit. The current one goes until next Saturday I think. I forgot the date I set.
I don't have a theme in mind yet, but I'm open to suggestions. Could be just something goofy fun like the current or something more technical like the last or somewhere in-between.
I'm pretty open, anything tickle your fancy? Anything you ever wanted to do but just never got around to it?

Exacto knife. I first cut them as flush as possible without marring the surrounding plastic, then I held the blade perpendicular to the figure and scrapped very slowly. The plastic is soft enough to allow this. Be careful, it's very easy to mar the surrounding plastic. You man want to practice on a piece you don't plan to use.itscramtastic wrote:Cary! I think I'm going to order one of those Rockman model kits. How did you clean up the sprue marks so well?
