Thanks for stopping in...this place is a mess so updates are all over the place
Yes! I have picked up more since Skywarp LOL. I have to get an update post together but my latest collection updates are page 10 towards the bottom. It's an update from when I move my collection to a new room and setup my one button light control for my cases.

I'll be watching HTS like a hawk Monday if I don't get Devy this weekend. If THAT doesn't work out, Amazon.
Thanks itscram, I couldn't wait to snap some pics of him he was sitting in my trunk all day while I was at work (well half of the day); I went to the TRU on a lark at lunch and BAM! there he was!
Best of luck to you on your hunt, I was thinking of buying the other one and offering it up to anyone who couldn't find one and wants one NOW lol! But I have a feeling he'll be getting increasingly easy to find as we get close the the 8/1 street date.

Thanks cary, I have been thinking of sending out engraved announcements for his debutante ball LOL.
The muslin back drops are really nice but hard to store without wrinkling the crap out of them...I was too lazy to steam it before I snapped the shots...

They really catch the light very nice. I wasn't going to mention the wrinkles. One of these days, I need to set myself up with a proper "photo booth."donny1975 wrote:The muslin back drops are really nice but hard to store without wrinkling the crap out of them...I was too lazy to steam it before I snapped the shots...

Any pros or 'cons that jump out at ya that may not have been shared yet? Actually, I'm a little surprised we haven't seen the toy haul thread have a green explosion yet. That will be a fun day.

Great find D. Don't you love that feeling when you casually walk in to the toy store with low to no expectations, and hit the mother load?!? It's better than Xmas.
Now, Deveastator, ATTACK THE ARK!

You could've mentioned them (wrinkles) LOL, would have shamed me into not being lazy in the future!
I bought this for my lighting needs...although I did add another light and I bought green chromakey muslin for doing the stopmo...

Haven't heard this word in forever! All though with this being TFs maybe we should spell it Cysmet?

leakin' lubricant wrote:Nice find Donny, how's the plastic quality on the big ol' b'stard?
Plastic quality is really good on him, it's dense but has some flex to it; I'm assuming that's so due to him being a toy for kids. I have read some people having QC issues with him, pins and stress marks and such. I do not have any of those. Things are really tight on the figures. The ball jointed hips are the loosest joints on everyone 'cept longhaul; the hips are tighter (to me) than the other CW bots.
In Devy mode mine has metroplex syndrome in the hips. He'll hold a standing pose but his leg won't do kick pose...it won't hold the weight. His shoulders and elbows are friction joins so those will obviously degrade over time but tight enough for now. Also once you put Devy's right arm on the load causes a gap to form between front section of hook, but it doesn't bother me... you can see it in the UHOH! pic with bumble bee...on his right shoulder. Before actually combining him that gap was non-existent.
Overall I am very impressed with him, and his play-ability even with his obvious design shortcomings. Although I am happy that we have ankle tilts, guess that was what the elbows were traded for?? LOL

Yes! It was quite a fun lunch hour for me...although the rest of the work day was kind of a bust...lol.
I will def be trying to get some photos of him harassing the autobots in the Ark! That will be next weekend though...not enough time this weekend
I did mess around with some of my previous photos, trying to up my game in the photo editing arena. let me know what you think.
Thanks all for taking the time to look!

So I guess the real question is: Are you still cleaning mash potatoes from your TFs?

LOL Cary! This means something....
I did kinda feel like that while I was building it sometimes...but no mashed potatoes were harmed in the making of the diorama.
