What's new in the collection?!

Alright so I have been lurking a bit...and I have off tomorrow in order to make an even longer holiday weekend...So will be taking some pics of the new additions from last haul and the trickle from other sources...blah blah blah blah...

At any rate I decided to take a version of Jolt along to work with me today and had some fun Instagraming our "adventures" together...so here's a replay...

My Volt -- Elektra and my other Volt Jolt on our way to work...

Jolt snug in my bag on the way into the building...

After we get into the office, we discover there is a partial power outtage...no lights or AC buuut the power to the PCs and network intact...as I contemplate this Jolt gets my tea ready for me...

This is the end pose of some prayer dance for electricity that Jolt was doing...it was not graceful...

Finally Jolt decided to do what I normally do to resolve certain situations at the office; push the "easy" button...

Finally he gave up and decided to sit and sigh dejectedly until we could finally leave....

It was an interesting start to the day.

Happy Friday Folks! Did some cleaning and organizing in my collection room (aka the Nerd Cave). I got another Detolf so the recent additions are no longer strewn about the place... After doing all of the cleaning and organizing I decided to get some photoz snapped.

Here is Speedwheel (aka Lightspeed) looking forward to the final two figures of Warbotron's Computron homage.

Now for Jolt...not a Bayformer fan at all, but I needed to get a the transformers that turns into the car I drive right? LOL any way he's not a half bad little figure...a little panel-y and the head is meh.. but decent articulation.

Hia donny!

Speedwheel looks cool! He is robo chunky in all the right places. Looks pretty articulated too. Those Warbotron Combiners are pretty massive once combined, ya?

With you on the "not a Bayformer fan", but I always found Jolt kinda neat. I always liked his head because it reminds me of an owl. Always cool to have the car you drive in bot form.
Wish I had known you were looking for him, I would have just given you mine. Next time you get a movieverse bug, check with me first.

Love the "take a bot to work" spread too. I gotta get an easy button!

And finally here is Waspinator...never followed Beast Wars but I like his character/iteration in the IDW universe and this figure is really kewl...me thinks I will be looking closer at the Beast Wars...plus I have it on good authority that the Beast Wars 'toon is kewl (

Cobs/Shaj).

He is and so are his compatriates. The Warbo combiners are pretty large not as big as Devy but big...probably about 2-3 inches shorter.

Articulation is pretty good, 'cept Warbo has thing about making sucky shoulder articulation...I am wondering if that is what they are sacrificing for combined mode...but doesn't make sense...

You must get an easy button; it makes life that much better. I hit that thing quite often at work! It's loud, obnoxious and resounding "THAT WAS EASY!" is so satisfying

I have some lighting umbrellas/softboxes that I use to light my photos. I am looking for some smaller solutions since they don't all fit in my current space to well...so I can't have all of the light I want/need.

Lovin' it! It adds that extra level of control to my lighting setup. The background is much or even than in my other pics and there less shadows and artifacts...
