I know! It's one of things I'm really happy about with the CW stuff, being able to have one toy which is also five, which in turn allows for several idiotic scenarios for people who never really grow up.

I totally concur, one of the things I couldn't understand about all the nerd rage and whining about this guy was the seemingly complete lack of understanding that this is a TOY and the ultimate point was having something that folks can PLAY with!

The in-laws were in town and gave me a much needed break from the Tronkins and my father-in-law treated us to some much needed sushi. Now we are off to explore a Parks District pool that has a giant playground in the middle of it. Should be fun for Mr. and Mrs. Tron and the Tronkins. :lol:

Ok so it has been a while since I actually posted anything about new members of the family. I haven't gotten a lot of big hauls lately but I have gotten some small ones so I had to let them build up a bit. So after my chores this morning I spent some time playing

As for Grimmy I really like him alot, only 2 things that I could complain about if I were pressed: 1. I would like it if he were a bit taller but some scoria boots will help that (when they get here). 2. I could take or leave this; the head turn via tail waggle mechanism is a kewl gimmick but I think he would be more stable in both modes without. Of course it does add personality so it's toss.

Everything else I love and I got him at original TRU cost in this day an age of high MP prices so I am REALLY happy with that.

Yeah he's got a few to many gimmicks to be fair, I'd toss out the light up hand too if I were pressed. glad you got him for a good price.

You know, I just got a Hasbro Grimmy from shajaki a couple of weeks ago and I can't put him down. He has never been one of my favorite characters, but the MP toy is FANTASTIC. Like Lube said, tons of character, and he just feels so solid in your hands. I love how G1 simple his transformation is.

Donny all the pics look great. I didn't know Tesla had a canon mode?! :shock:

Or did you improv that?
Glad the C-O-T inspired you.

I'll just be over here waiting for G2 Bee to show up from Japan. Y'all make the most of today. The weekend is almost over. (Lube is probably in bed by now I-)

Cobs, you, Cary, and everyone else have some quite inspiring photos and such in your threads. The cannon mode is not in the instructions but the way his legs are constructed you can tell the mode was intended...his calves have the same locking peg holes on both sides allowing for this mode. They did show it off in a few of the promotional photos I believe...

You and me both brother! I can't wait for some more official guys to actually come out, and of course the pre order for Ironhide needs to go up soon as well.

I do have a HUGE haul coming next week, so I'll have something to keep me busy until G2 comes in. After that I think I will leave my POL alone until after TFCon Charlotte.

Pool with a playground in it, sounds like a blast for the kiddies and the kiddies at heart!
