Not sure what you mean by "new Rescue Bots stuff," (the dino-bot versions?) but the Walmart in Brier Creek has the new monster truck OP, motorcycle BB, and Heatwave the Fire-boat. It's on the main aisle on the home furnishing sides of the building sitting with all the other cheap goodies put out for Easter, I guess. There's even a whole load of those crappy TF Titan figures as well.

Yep, those are the ones. I'll check that out later, thanks for the heads up!

Picked up the latest 3 Rescue Bots at Brier Creek Walmart.
For the last few days I've checked a few Walmarts for AOE stuff. Done now, not gonna go around any more. To possibly save someone time, the following Walmart stores in the Raleigh area do NOT have any AOE product on shelves:
- Triangle Town Center
- New Hope Church Road
- New Bern Ave
- Cary (Tryon Rd)
- Brier Creek
- Morrisville (Hwy 54)

To the best of my knowledge, no AOE Generations product has been sighted in the US. They are out in Canada, which is how people are getting them and why there are so many on ebay.
NC has only seen the Grimlock and Prime smash/change bots so far, and I've heard of sightings for those two in Lenoir, Hickory, and Winston Salem.
Some of the simplified movie deluxes have been found in Los Angeles, but nowhere else so far.
Hope that helps! My best advice on AOE stuff is to be patient, give it a month and once the street date hits this stuff will be everywhere for the rest of the year.

The Target across the plaza had nothing worth note.

Barnes and Noble at Triangle Town Center has Gundam kits! I picked up a MG Wing Zero, only a tiny bit overpriced at $65 (no really, that's more than online retailers but not by much). They also have MG Deathscythe Hell Custom, MG Heavyarms, MG something-something Astray (the one from Build Fighters), RG Destiny, HG of that some Astray, and HG Wing Fenice. Also some little PVC guys but I wasn't interested in those. Apparently the assortment is very similar at most B&Ns.
I know a lot of TF fans also like those kits, so hope that helps someone. As expected, unfortunately, no modeling supplies are being distributed with these kits.

Staying on the topic of toys, I have narrowed down my list to what I want to get from our first wave offerings:
Voyagers-Evasion mode Optimus (might get 2 of him in case I decide to be brave and add some paint), Grimlock (don't want the leaders)
Deluxes-Crosshairs (maybe), Scorn (although I could see myself getting all the deluxe dinobots)
Construct-bots: Grimlock and the mini-Optimus
That's all I want really until Drift and Lockdown show up.

Six Forks K-mart does NOT have AOE toys, but the pegs are up. SOON.

If you want a Whirl, I think your window is right about now.
Speaking of that, 2 Whirls and 2 Rhinox at Six Forks Rd. K-mart in Raleigh. I also saw a RTS Optimus at the Rite Aid in the same plaza. No, that is not a typo.

I've thought about it. Just don't have the funds for right now. Maybe for my birthday coming up in about two months.

Dammit, and I was just thinking about getting that figure to add to my Optimus Prime vs. Megatron display along with the Classics Deluxe Megatron.
Any chance that any old Rite Aid will have it? And would you happen to know what they asked for him in price?

Dude, out your way Rite Aid will probably have Universe '08 figures. At least when I went to one in Washington a couple years ago they did
It was 17.99. I'd be happy to pick it up and ship it to you and charge exact cost, but it'd probably be close to $30 after tax and shipping.

If my Rite Aid had Universe (2008) figures, I'd be a happy man. I missed out on Sunstreaker, and Sideswipe sure could use a buddy. I also have a vague recollection of getting Octane and Galvatron there...
I'll have to stop by my local Rite Aid and see what they have. They're literally across the street from my school.
Yikes, close to twenty bucks for a Deluxe. Though to be fair, it's about as much as I'd pay if I found it online, so I guess it can be justified. Like I said, funds are tight, so for now I'm going to have to decline that offer. However, I'll keep it in mind.

ScottyP wrote:^ Cool stuff! Hasn't been even a hint of AOE product here in the city. Stores here are, sometimes unfortunately, very good about street dates.
I read online that some Walmarts are starting to put out the aoe voyagers. Not sure if any around here will do that, but still something to keep in mind. Of course, we don't have too long to wait now anyway.
I'm thinking about picking up Rhinox. I'm not really into Beast Wars, but most reviews I see on him are fairly positive.
