Noticed something in the film

Postby Ratking » Mon Oct 15, 2007 9:05 pm

Hey guys. Brand new member. Saw the film on Imax a bit back. This was my third viewing. I noticed loads of small details I hadn't seen before. (Forgive me here, I might sound a bit like Peter Griffin. I just never cared what the names were.) In the scene where the computer whiz chick first goes into the computer hacker dudes room. Hanging in his window are three model jets. On Imax, to me, the middle one was a grey Raptor, (Starscream) and on the left a black and purple Stealth Bomber, (Skywarp!?) and on the right, a light blue spyplane of some type. A U2 maybe? (Thundercracker!?) So maybe it was all in my mind? Or was it? C'mon guys, give me some validation here.

Yeah! To me, thats what the colors apeared to be on the Imax... It would make sense wouldn't it? Stealth bomber-Skywarp, and Thundercracker-some ultra high altitude, supersonic spy jet? Seekers for TF2! What do you think?

I would love to see more seekers in TF2, especially Skywarp (he'd make an awesome stealth bomber).

I saw them the first time I saw the movie, but thought anything about it...hah. However, the one in the middle isn't a F-22 Raptor, but a F-14 Tomcat. The one on the left is F-117 stealth fighter (Nighthawk). "Stealth bomber" is more common associated with the B-2. Not sure what the one in the right is, but it's not a U2.

How about when Iron hide asks can he shoot the parents and Ratchet takes Ironhide's arm to where the dad was at.

I believe the middle U2 like plane is a training jet used for NASA and teaching USAF trainees G resistance. It is not a high altitude jet. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but I did notice those. None seem to really have a connection to the movie or potentially to TF2. However, I have been wrong before.

I saw that and that's an interesting thought. I'll be interesting to see what happens in the next movie.

What I never noticed before...and I'm shocked that I didn't... was that in the end when Optimus and Megs are fighting and Megatron is about to shoot his main, combined cannon, that Optimus actually reaches to pull his gun from off his back. All this time, I though that Optimus' arm transformed into his gun. Guess I was wrong. It only took me about 6 times watching the movie to catch this.

Agree.

And also agree with the previous posts about the left being a F-117 and the middle being a F-14 Tomcat.
