Autobase Nu - Outside Medbay

Finally noticing Orpheus as the laughing warrior left with Sub Zero, Slag was about to follow him and ask him rather roughly what he was laughing about, when Snarl spoke up. Things were getting bad when Snarl was being the voice of reason.

"You Snarl have good idea. At least one bot around here have head welded on. Boss Grimlock probably in command centre. We go there before this place fall apart. Me Slag can almost feel the floor shaking under me..."

With this cryptic statement, Slag walked off towards the command center, expecting Ironhide and Snarl to follow.

Autobase Nu - Command Center

The transmission from Ark-13 was something of a surprise, but Prowl supposed he should have been anticipating the unexpected by that point. It was going to be one of those orns, it seemed. And once again, it looked as though the personnel roster of Autobase Nu was going to be pared back for the sake of the larger strategic picture. He just wished somebody had bothered to explain to him why, preferably before they swooped in to deprive him of half a dozen members of his staff.

Well. He was sure he'd get the necessary documentation. Eventually. Maybe not from Grimlock, but Ultra Magnus could generally be counted on to pay some attention to the usual protocols.

>>This is Autobase Nu, Ark-13,<< Prowl replied. >>Your signal has been received. Please stand by.<< A few adjustments to the communications console, and the strategist was ready to round up the requested Autobots.

>>This is Prowl to Broadside and the Aerialbots. Please make for the main landing platform at best possible speed. You're being transferred to the command of Ultra Magnus aboard the Ark-13.<<

Autobase Nu - Outside Medbay

Snarl stood there in the hallway amazed that his plan to defuse the situation had actually worked. Usually, Slag didn't like Snarl's ideas, or anyone else's for that matter. So, Snarl was pleasantly surprised when this time was different.

Snarl watched as the still grumpy Dinobot walked down the corridor towards the Command Center. Snarl then looked over at Ironhide with a grin on his face. "See, big red. Just need to know how talk to Slag. Now, no one die." Snarl placed his hand on Ironhide's shoulder. "Come on. Lets follow Slag to Command Center. We still need keep eye on him, at least til he Grimlock's problem and not ours no more."
Snarl then started down the hallway after Slag. He paused a moment and looked back at Ironhide. "By way, you can thank me Snarl later for saving your rusty tailpipe, if you want."

En route to Autobase Nu

Prowl's transmission came as something of a surprise even to the always calm and collected Skydive. The Ark-13? If an Ark-class vessel has been brought back online, something big is happening. Very big. As he and the other Aerialbots flew along, he opened a comm channel to Prowl. As was his duty as XO, he would inform the city commander of their status.

>>"We are inbound with wounded," he stated. "ETA one-half breem. Will proceed forthwith to Ark-13.<<

He accelerated slightly to take the lead ahead of the other Aerialbots who were hauling their wounded comrades. Opening a second comm channel to Silverbolt, he spoke again.

>>"Permission to break off and rendezvous with Ark-13, sir. I can get a preliminary briefing so that we know where we're headed after Air Raid, Fireflight, and Slingshot ground their casualties."<<

Ark 13 ~ Approaching Autobase Nu

Windcharger felt more and more comfortable at the helm of the massive ship as the journey continued. He could now see Autobase Nu on his viewscreen.

>>Autobase Nu, this is Ark-13 approaching on vector 546.9. Please ready a landing pad for our arrival.<<

Banking the craft, Windcharger guided the Ark to the landing pad awaiting their arrival. Full of the confidence of a vetern pilot, he pulled back on the throttle and deployed the landing gears. He turned in his seat to address the rest of the crew.

"Sit tight gang. I'll have us on the ground in no time."

Turning back to complete the docking procedures, he realized too late that he was coming in too fast. Grimacing at his oversight he pulled the throttle back hard and engaged the retro-rockets. The Ark shuddered as it came down hard on the landing pad, jarring the entire cabin. Windcharger fell from his seat as the Ark rocked to a rest. Looking up from his position on the floor, he quickly checked that everyone was alright.

"See. What'd I tell you. No time at all."

Autobase Nu landing Pad

Cliffjumper watched in awe as the Arc class vessel slowly landed. He had never seen one in person and new soemthing exciting would be happening whereever that ship was headed. He Only wished for some excitement. He had been atop the landing pad for some time watching over the small shuttle they had arived on. He eagerly awaited the Landing ramp lowering and seeing who was aboard.

Air Raid could easily fly circles around most the aerial bots, even with Topspin dangling below him. He had wanted to break formation many times in the past and thi stime was no different but held back yet again. Air Raid again simulated turbulance dropping a bit of altitude as a nudge to Topspin. The comm about be transfered to Ultra Magnus' command aboard the Arc 13 had come as a suprize, a welcome suprize. Air Raid needed something new. Running patrols over Cybertron was staring to bore him.

Autobase Nu - Outside Medbay

"Uh yeah. Thanks." Ironhide replied to Snarl, not really sure what had just happened.

Ironhide headed off in the same direction that Slag and Snarl had headed.

'Lets hope nothing else goes wrong' Ironhide thought. 'I don't want anything delaying my time with the Decepticons any longer'

Autobase Nu - Command Centre

The doors of the command centre seemed to slide open a little faster than usual as they admitted Slag in the room. The Dynobot looked around, dissapproving of what he saw. But then that was hardly unusual.

Brushing past Smokescreen, and ignoring Prowl so hard it was like he was staring right up to him, Slag approached Grimlock. "You Boss find where Old Rusty at? You Grimlock just tell me where he is, me Slag find him and carry him to Uraya. Me Slag going crazy here in this fall-apart old bunker."

The Ark - Landed at Autobase Nu

"...Erm, yes, that was an admirable landing procedure under the conditions, I suppose". Perceptor neglected to mention that the conditions were that Windcharger wasn't a very well trained pilot. He picked himself off the floor, rubbing his head where it had bounced off Ultra Magnus' knee, and hoped that one of the Aerialbots would take over for the rest of the mission.
Seating himself at his console once again, Perceptor ran a systems check of the Ark. "All systems nominal, Ultra Magnus sir. Inertial dampeners depleted from the...landing, but recharging normally. I suppose all we need to do now is find our fellow crewmechs."

Autobase Nu - Medbay

Broadside picked up the message coming from Autobase command. The contents were enough to rouse his curiosity, the Ark-13 was an interplanetary vehicle not often used by the Autobot army due to the amount of energy it required to power it. Broadside looked at Orpheus and Sub-Zero

‘Well guy’s I’ll have to hold you to that round in the arena another time, duty calls and all, do try to be nice to the Dinobots I don’t want to here news of you guys being torn to pieces.’

With that Broadside turned and ran out of the med bay heading towards the hanger where the ark was due to land.

As the footsteps of Broadside faded as the triple changer left the med bay a faint his was heard from the rack of CR chambers as a door swung open. Fully recharged Minerva stepped out of the capsule and looked at her surroundings. The med bay was all but deserted, and the place was a general tip. Her vision fixed on Sub-zero and Orpheus and she remembered asking the smaller mech to keep tabs on the traffic into and out of the med bay.

She began to move around the room clearing up the debris of spare parts and scrap. Straightening up she noticed two gouge marks on the med bay door. Minerva took great pride in the order she kept the med bay in and let out an annoyed moan. She turned her attention to the two mechs near the door way

En route to Autobase Nu

Topspin looked up as he was buffeted around by Air Raid’s manoeuvre.

‘Hey watch it up…oh’

Topspins gaze fixed upon the enormous form of the Ark touching down at Nova Cronum. He wondered what the Ark could be doing here. It wasn’t often the Autobots relied on a ship that big.

‘Hey Air Raid you got any idea what that thing is doing up here?’

Autobase Nu - Command centre

Smokescreen lifted his gaze from the monitor, he’d learned all he could from the data and he didn’t feel like looking at it for longer than was necessary. Just as slag had ignored him Smokescreen paid no heed to the Dinobot, there really wasn’t much point talking to him when he was clearly in such a fowl mood, their personalities grated at the best of times, instead Smokescreen moved over to Inferno to see what the red bot was up to.

The Ark - Landed at Autobase Nu

"I don't know what you talking about Perceptor. I have had much worse crashes than this. If anything, this was a soft landing for me. I'll admit that very seldom does my crashes involve this large of objects so it may been worse than I thought about. Hopefully we won't be here long though because it would be crippling if the Cons caught us sitting here." Swerve piped up after enjoying the short flight.

As the Aerialbots were approaching Autobase Nu, Silverbolt noticed the Ark landing hard on the strip.

"Aerialbots, we will have to be careful how we land now. The Ark took up a big chunk of the landing strip. Once you transport your wounded to the Medbay, head back out to the Ark. Skydive, you have my persmission to address Ultra Magnus on the Ark. I will report to Prowl. Remember Air Raid, we want our friends in one piece before they get back to the Medbay. Kup, I'll meet you on the ground if you want to give our reports to Prowl together."

Autobase Nu ~ Landing Pad

"Sorry about that Ultra Magnus. I'll work on that landing procedure."

Windcharger was genuinely sheepish in his apology to the commander. It seemed his first chance to show what he could do was a bit of a let down. He was certain that he'd get it right the next time, without a doubt. Returning to his seat at the navigation console, he double checked his calculations for the trip to AC488. He didn't want any mistakes this time. Looking over at Perceptor he gave him a thumbs up.

"Wasn't too bad, eh?"

Autobase Nu Hangar ~ Ark 13 Bridge

Recovering from Windcharger's landing, Ultra Magnus returned to his feet, having been knocked down, partly from the impact of the landing, and partly due to Perceptor's head bouncing off his leg "Any landing you can walk away from I suppose..." He thought to himself as he nodded in reply to Perceptor, the Scientist also upright once more "Excellent Perceptor, I'll go and have a quick word with Prowl, fill him in on why we're stealing 6 of his finest, keep an optic on things while I'm gone will you?"

The City Commander went to leave the bridge when Windcharger addressed him "Not to worry Windcharger, I don't expect you've ever piloted an Ark class vessel before, lets just make sure your next landing goes a bit better yes?" Magnus replied, patting the Minibot on the shoulder, while making a mental note to get one of the new additions to at least help out with the journey to AC-488, before taking his leave, heading for the Autobase Nu Command Center.

Autobase Nu ~ Medbay

The unmistakable sound of a CR chamber grabbed Archangel's attention as he lay quietly on one of the examination tables, signalling that his time in charge was at an end. As he listened to Minerva walking around clearing the Medbay up, the young Medic sat up and slid off the table, before having a quick stretch, still feeling the effects of his encounter with Clench not so long ago. As he moved over towards his fellow Medic, he heard her address someone, but couldn't see who exactly, but he could tell that Minerva wasn't best pleased with Slag's handy work.

"Glad to see you back up on your feet Minerva.." Archangel began as he caught up, seeing that it was Orpheus and Sub-Zero that were being questioned "..I do apologise for the current... New design, of the entrance, but we were graced with the presence of Slag not so long ago, on a mission to locate Kup. He arrived, destroyed and then left before any of us could do much about it"

En Route to Autobase Nu

>>"On it," Skydive answered Silverbolt as he engaged his afterburners and left the rest of the Aerialbots far behind. It took him no time at all to cover the remaining distance to Autobase Nu, and he noticed on his scanners that the Ark-13 had touched down, albeit somewhat messily. He reduced his altitude and came in for an easy landing in Nu's Main Hangar. Transforming into robot mode, the strategist saw Ultra Magnus emerge from the massive Ark via on of its ramps.

"Sir," he made his presence known, saluting smartly. "Aerialbot Skydive, making report for the rest of my team."

He waited for the mission commander's acknowledgment.



Meanwhile, Kup and the others were nearly upon Autobase Nu's doorstep. As Silverbolt suggested that they report together to Prowl, the old warhorse recognized that it wasn't a bad idea. It'll make things quicker...and I can foist the paperwork off on the lad, he chuckled to himself. And while Silverbolt's filling out that mountain of reports and log entries, I'll see what ol' Grim is up to.

"Autobots," he told the others. "We're here. Offload the wounded directly to the Med Bay so Minerva and her crew can get to work."

As he approached the main entrance of the Autobase, its armored doors slid open to admit him and the others. He remained in truck mode and made a beeline for the Command Center.

Ark-13 - Landed

Perceptor saluted once more as Ultra Magnus left. "Do not worry Sir, all will remain as you see it now." Once the city commander had left, he looked back at Windcharger, and weakly returned the thumbs up, as if he was unfamiliar with the gesture.

Perceptor turned back to his console, then realised Swerve had been talking. "Er, what was that Swerve? The Decepticons...striking the Ark now? I, er, I don't think...um..."

Perceptor had been so wrapped up in the future of this mission that he hadn't given much thought to what might happen on the journey. Well, he'd thought about how they'd have to fight once they got to AC-488, but the transit and its dangers hadn't really received a second thought. Now, parked roughly on the thetacrete outside a frontier base not altogether that far from the Polyhex border, the Ark was in a far different position to when it was in Iacon.

"Erm, you're absolutely right Swerve, we must remain in a maximal state of vigilance for the duration of our stay! Sureshot, status report on all offensive and defensive facilities! Full sensor sweep, Mr...Um, who is operating the sensors?"

Well, perhaps we're not that vunerable. Autubase Nu's defenses will shield us, will they not?

((OOC: Good job on noticing the security breach BTW. I was hoping for someone to address the big hole in the base at this point.))

Autobase Nu- Corridors

Drillbit emerged from his tunnel and observed his surroundings. Noone had noticed his entrance, not even a security drone was present.

It was then that the little voice in his head started acting up again.

Great job 'Bit! You have officially screwed up a simple transfer to a new base! Give yourself a reward for being so stupid!

He tried his best to ignore that voice whenever possible.

He would proceed down the corridor, hoping to find a superior to lead him to a mission. He would do his best to explain why that hole was in the middle of a hallway, but that was actually the least of his worries in his mind.

Autobase Nu ~ Hangar

As the doors of the Ark 13 slid open, and it's Commander in Chief emerged, a small smile briefly appeared on his face "It's been a long time since I've been to Nova Cronum. Shame that my stay will be all too short" Magnus thought to himself as he began to walk down the ramp, only to be greeted by Skydive, the Aerialbot second in command typically professional in his greeting.

Returning the salute quickly, the City Commander motioned for the Strategist to walk with him while they talked "Good to see you Skydive, no doubt you and your fellow Aerialbots are eager to be briefed on what awaits you, and I'll be sure to bring you all up to speed in good time, but first I need to pay Prowl a courteousy call and explain why I'm commandeering 6 of his best for an offworld mission at such short notice.." Magnus paused as they exited the Hangar "..Suffice to say this mission won't be like anything any of us have experienced before, that I can guarantee"

Autobase Nu ~ Command Center

Inferno had been ignoring most of what was going on in terms of conversation, instead, he'd had his feet up and had been watching the various monitor feeds from around the base. One feed that certainly caught his attention was the one from the Hangar bay, as he watched the 'Landing' of the Ark 13, he could tell that had the hallmark of Windcharger written all over it. Chuckling to himself, he noticed Smokescreen moving over towards him, his attempt to converse with Grimlock seemingly ignored.

"You got what you wanted from that data Smokescreen?.." the Fire Truck began, as his optics switched from the now recovering Ark, to the interior of Autobase Nu and a rather large hole that had appeared "..What the Pit is that?" Inferno continued, removing his feet from the console and sitting up so he could take a closer look. Having been so wrapped up in his amusement at Windcharger's landing, Inferno hadn't been paying much attention to any incoming radio traffic and had missed Drillbit's message earlier, and consequently, had no idea who he was "..Hey, Smokers', you recognise that guy there?" Inferno asked, pointing out Drillbit on one of the other monitors.

Autobase Nu: Hangerbay

Nova Strike had spent much of the trip in utter silence, there was just no reason for him to speak. He hurt and he knew that his damage was not particularly life threatening, except that he had lost about half of his internal fluids. So he decided it was best to conserve energy as he held on to Fireflight's cradle during transport. Still he didn't exactly feel proud of how he had gotten into the current condition he found himself in, his right arm a total write off and his opponent getting away practically scott free. It urked him to the superstructure. Did he desire revenge, no that would serve no purpose. The fact that the target deliberately crossed into their airspace practically unchallenged, took down half a dozen plus Autobot warriors and then fled back to safety... and knowing command as he did nothing would be done about it.

Finally the trip ended and Nova Strike pulled himself out of the transport cradle and to his feet. To his left a massive star ship lay docked taking on supplies and whatever else was needed for its trip and to his right another smaller craft did the same. The varitable hub of activity today, slag it was the most activity he had seen in cycles being the fact he was primarily assigned to the Maximus Line. A couple of medics ran up to his side and began to tug at his arm to force him into the base to receive repair but at the time he just shrugged them off. "I'll go in when I'm ready to get in there so quit pullin'."

Autobase Nu: Hanger - Base of Shuttle Dauntless Access Ramp

Wheeljack decended down the access ramp of the Shuttle Dauntless his optics focused on the video feed from Sky Spy as it darted across the various halls and such of the interior of Autobase Nu. Eventually the little satellite dipped and dinked its way through the final hallway and exited out the opposite hatch way just behind the medical staff and nearly bumping into the hull of the Ark 13. It then dropped just shy of the port hatch and began to fly over the gathered support crews and Autobot Staff.

"Sorry about that," the inventer called out as the little droid bumped into Ultra Magnus's left shoulder. He entered a brief sprint after the now downed spy quickly scooping it up as it rolled down the ramp to the deck. With out regards of the hubbub of the various loading and manuvering of wounded, Wheeljack pulled out a turbo screwdriver and opened up the small side panel. "Doesn't appear to be any real damage here... oh wait, no thats just a little.... there we go nice and tight." He looked up at the taller command officer. "Oh, Sorry about that Ultra Magnus, its a little inexperienced just learning how to navigate and such."

Ark 13: Engineering

Landfill had practically locked himself into the Ark's engineering section. He had begun a brief level one dianostic effectively taking the entire system offline for the next half breem to double check all the systems before they left the planet surface. It was standard procedure and allowed him some time to begin reviewing potential structure designs for potential environmental conditions they may encounter on this planet. For the most part he wasn't exactly to keen on designing or building in a body of H2O molicule combinations, for some reason it seemed too excessive and well... it was not his call to make so he studied the plans at length.

Autobase Nu - Command Center

It felt like Grimlock had been waiting in the command center for weeks. He’d copied the recordings of the action Kup was getting back from and even reviewed them a bit. The Decepticons certainly had quite the new warrior. He was already looking forward to meeting him on the battlefield. Still, even this wasn’t enough to alleviate his boredom for long. He wanted to be out on that battlefield fighting and not just imagining it.

He was about to answer Slag when he got the signal from the base computer. Kup had finally returned. “No need Slag, rust bucket is back and now we going.” The Dinobot commander jumped up from his seat and began making his way out of the room. >>”LSC, meet up at shuttle Dauntless. We leaving now. This means you too Kup.”<< Finally they would get out of this veritable backwater and get into the actual war again. With any luck they would see some action before they even got to Uraya. He certainly wouldn’t mind a scrap on the way over.

Autobase Nu- Shuttle Dauntless

Swoop had quietly made his way back to his 'femme'. He'd checked and double-checked every system as the wait a drawn out. Now he was at loose ends; Dauntless was as ready as she was ever gonna be. He was starting to get bored. Then, he received Grimlock's orders.

'Bout Fraggin' time! the pilot concluded. With the touch of a few buttons, he began prepping the shuttle for launch. The pterodactyl opened a channel, sending a response to his CO.

>>"Copy that, Boss. Me Swoop got her cleaned, fueled, and engines are warmin' up now. She be ready to go by the time you hit the ramp."<<

Autobase Nu - Command Centre

With the latest news, Slag's face did something almost unheard of; It produced a smile, if only for an astrosecond or so. "Best news me Slag heard since we left that mudball and it's fleshies." Grabbing Smokescreen and Ironhide by the shoulders, in what was probably meant to be a comradely hug but felt more like a bothandling by a touchy bouncer, Slag began to lead his allies back out of the command centre. "Us LSC gonna finally get to the good stuff. You No-Dynobots remember all you missed."

Ark-13 - Landed

I was certain that either Bumblebee or Searchlight would have assumed operation of our sensory equipment, Perceptor thought as he cycled his station to accept feedback from the sensors. Oh well, I suppose we're not used to forming a starship crew. I wonder if we'll have enough time to train during the flight.
The sensor data was next to useless: Shielded by the surrounding buildings, the radar returns showed only a cone of sky above the Ark, with the horizon being depressingly high. If Decepticon air units were going to attack them, they'd be practically on top of them before they were noticed.
"In our landing configuration, our sensors are catastrophically limited for military application, I am afraid gentlemechs. We shall have to rely on the cover of Autobase Nu's defenses for the duration of our stay. Which, should everything operate as programmed, will not be too great in duration.

Autobase Nu-Hallways

Silverbolt walked along the hallway from the hangar bay. Hopefully this will be a short report because he knew that Ultra Magnus will want to leave shortly. The Aerialbots should have been at Iacon instead of them coming here. It isn't like the Aerialbots to miss an appointment but dealing with a Con that was slaughtering his fellow Bots came ahead of meeting up with them. Once Ultra Magnus knew what was up, Silverbolt knew that he will understand. As Silverbolt turned a couple times he saw the Dynobots and some others heading back out towards the shuttle bay. He thought he saw another ship there that he didn't recognize when he left to help out Kup and gang. He barely recognized the Dynobots. Before he knew it, he was at the Command Center.

"Perceptor, we could also rely on the Aeiralbots if they fly recon patrols. Sure, Autobase Nu has good sensors but the Aerialbots know the land and sky fairly well." Swerve suggested.

Autobase Nu – Command Centre

Snarl was thrilled that Kup had finally returned to base. He was even more thrilled that Slag was not only happy, but smiling! Of course, if you so much as blinked your optics, you’d miss it. But, at least no one would end up in the scrap heap now due to Slag’s temper. Snarl was happy he was able to calm Slag down, even if the grumpy Dinobot didn’t realize it.

“See, Slag. Me, Snarl, knew boss bot find Kup. Never doubted a moment,” Snarl commented as he followed Grimlock, Slag, Smokescreen and Ironhide out of the Command Centre and down the corridor. Like the others, Snarl was itching to get back into battle, which was the only real place he was truly happy.

Boredom finally over. Now back to crushing 'cons, which me Snarl do best.

Autobase Nu - Command Centre

Smokescreen looked at the bot Inferno was pointing to on the monitor, it was indeed an unfamiliar figure, the hole he had made in the floor suggested he was the forefront of an attack, or a little disconnected in the head. Before Smokescreen had time to react he was being pulled out of his seat by Slag, as he was steered to the exit Smokescreen turned to face Inferno
‘I don’t know who that was either, maybe you should flag it up to Prowl, I’ll see you at the shuttle shortly.’
With that Smokescreen relaxed and allowed himself to be steered down the hallways by an impatient Dinobot.

Broadside entered the Hanger bay in which the Ark-13 was landed, Broadside had forgotten just how truly awesome in size the ship was, Broadside went off in search of Ultra Magnus, spotting him heading for the hanger entrance, Broadside made his way over to greet the Autobot general

Autobase Nu- Medbay

‘I see.’ Minerva turned her attention from the assembled bots and looked at the rest of the room, it was a real wreck. She was about to greet Archangel when she heard a commotion outside, sticking her head out the door she saw the Arielbots unloading the damaged forms of Nova Strike, Topspin and Springer.
‘Weren’t you just in here?’ the medic questioned Springer, before motioning the three Bots to take a table and lie down.
‘Sorry the place is such a mess I’ve only just woken up’ Minerva activated the drones and headed over to Nova Strike judging his leg to be the most serious damaged item in the room, and trusting Archangel to deal with either Topspin or Springer
‘What happened to you’ she queried the mech as she activated the scanner ordering it to run a full diagnostic.

Autobase Nu – Command Centre

"Sounds great Slag. I've been waiting for this moment way too long!" Ironhide replied to Slag as the group left the command centre and entered the Hallway.

Autobase Nu-Hallways

" Wonder what kept Kup so long?" Ironhide wondered aloud. " Not like him to keep others waiting. Especially when it involves slagging 'Cons."

Autobase Nu - Corridors

As he made his way toward the Command Center with Silverbolt, Kup received Grimlock's transmission to the members of the LSC. With a grin, he looked to the Aerialbot commander.

"Give my best to Prowl," he said. "Looks like you'll be filling out the after-action reports this mega-cycle. I'll see you around, Silverbolt...time for this old rustbucket to go crack a few 'Con craniums!"

Cheerful as he'd been in vorns, the veteran warrior transformed into truck mode and hauled aft toward the Hangar where the Dauntless waited.



Ark-13 - Bridge

Ultra Magnus' comments intrigued Skydive. It was no surprise that whatever mission the Ark-13 had been brought out of mothballs to perform was going to be something unusual, but still, the Aerialbot strategist couldn't but help let his logic processor run wild with the possibilities. He tried to control his imagination for the time being, however. There was no sense in getting too excited over an unknown quantity. As he entered the Ark-13 and proceeded to the Bridge, he noticed several prominent Autobots already present on board the large ship.

"Hello, Perceptor," he greeted the brilliant scientist. "It's been a while." He nodded his greetings to the rest of the Bridge crew as well. "Perhaps one of you can fill me in on what we're doing aboard one of the most powerful warships ever built on Cybertron?"



Autobase Nu - Hallways

"Waiting? I ain't kept you waiting, you've been keeping me waiting!"

Kup rumbled up next to Ironhide, still in vehicle mode. He had caught up with the others as they'd departed the Command Center. If he hadn't been in a hurry to get to the Dauntless and head off for some real action, Kup probably would have favored Ironhide with a good-natured tackle or crack on the noggin. Ironhide was nearly as old as Kup, and they had worked together to train countless Autobot soldiers. The red security specialist was the closest thing to a contemporary Kup had in the entire faction, and as would be expected, they were close old friends.

"'Bout time they found something to justify your energon consumption, you old jalopy." He transformed into robot mode to walk alongside the others. "Though personally," he said, leaning in to give Inferno an elbow in the midsection, "I blame these youngsters. I'd been thinking you and I would've gotten to retire to the shores of the Rust Sea with a few nice femmes by now, but they keep needin' us to show 'em how it's done against the 'Cons."

It was obvious the old warhorse couldn't wait to get back into the thick of things with his old battle-mates.
