The Energon Pub

The battle lines had been drawn months ago and since not an inch was given nor taken. Madness and battle fatigue had started to set in three weeks ago, those who were deemed insane were quickly and brutally dealt with. Both sides could feel the crushing grinding oblivion that opened it"s maw wide, hungrily accepting any and all who would step but a micron forward. Heavy shelling in the early days had cleared the ranks of both sides, now if one needed spare parts it seemed one only had to extend one"s hand.

There were no heroes left, all who stood up to courageously hearken the troops to a victorious charge were instantly cut down, and those foolish enough to follow lay strewn, broken in shattered fragmented metal across the battlefield. Ratchet at one time a proud medical officer, had decended into a Dr. Frankenstein welding parts, hands ,fingers and plates onto the wounded, the growing pile of spare parts had grown so large that it now spread out into the trenches.
The once proud and valiant Autobots were now a haphazard collection of broken patched together walking scraps of metal. Brawn wearing an arm that once belonged to the Autobot known as Air-Raid, Grimlock or at least part of Grimlock was used to give Ultra Magnus a new face and upper torso.So on and on it went scavaging parts from fallen friends, comrades, and enemies alike - Autobot Poisonbite now proudly wore the legs of the Decepticon Thundercracker.

The Decepticon known as Quickstrike now wore a chest plate cut from Decepticon Scrapemetal, who truth be known was still fully functional - that was until Quickstrike violently ended their bitter feud that had been boiling over for the last few weeks. Since the failed Gestalt attack from the beginning months of the war Decepticons from one team now found themselves merged with other teams creating a hodge podge of combiners Bruticus with an arm from Nautilator and a leg from the Menasor, Devastator as a whole was dead the only surviving member Scavanger now lent an arm to Monstructor. Unfortunatly the battles had proven far to dangerous for any to form up and stride out onto the battle plain, the Autobots not able to withstand a Decepticon Gestalt one on one had fallen upon the tactic of "crippling" them, with devastating results. Megatron was dead as well as Prime, Soundwave and Tripticon now led the Decepticon armies, Soundwave playing the part of "eyes" for the now blind titan. Ultra Magnus now led the Autobots from the broken remains of the Autobot known as Fortress Maximus.

It was in these desperate hours that both sides watched in opened mouthed horror as a living nightmare blackened the stars in the sky, Unicron the God of destruction came slowly into view as Cybertron revolved in it"s endless journey through the inky black depths of the universe. A wave of terror swept through the ranks...the end of days was at hand and it was bringing reinforcments.
For a million years Transformers had gone missing while patroling the galaxies in their endless war, one side pointing the blame at the other, the truth however proved far more mysterious and frightening. Unicron"s army made up of a thousand "lost" Autobots and Decepticons decended upon the ranks of both cutting a swath of destruction and death never seen before. Twisted forms of mechanoids faced off against friend and foe alike, the scarred and twisted form of Nemesis-Sideswipe ripping apart his brother Sunstreaker with a circular blade of blue energy. Nemisis Computron took form in front of the scrambling remnants of the Decepticon Gesalts and started to blast apart Decepticons who only a few years earlier would have proven more than a match, but through the dark gifts of Unicron and their depleted energy reserves Computron tore through them like rice paper.

The Autobots however faced a far worse nightmare as Nemisis Predaking dropped slowly from the sky...
