To be honest I don't see why sentinel and galvatron are shoehorned into being headmasters.
Because the gimmick for this particular line of toys intended for children is Headmasters, so that the kids can have fun with interchangeability and little guys with vehicles. For the kids.
Remember back when Optimus Prime never showed any inclination to force a little man into an extreme splits and shove him in his tummy? And then all of a sudden he did, and it was reflected in the fiction? Remember how Bumblebee was never gold with a blue head, until he was? The fiction has always followed the toyline, since day one. And if suddenly Galvatron is a Headmaster then suddenly a Headmaster he'll be.
And if you think an adult writing to a toy company making toys for kids asking them to change out a kid appeal feature in a childrens toyline because it has a slight deviation from your memories of 30 years ago is realistic or admirable then I don't even know where to begin. If you want this Galvatron then buy it, and live with the fact that you'll need to, gasp, remove his head to transform him. If it's enough of a turn off to you that you don't want him as he stands, get Universe, or SG, or Energon Galvatron, or wait around for an MP Galvatron. But your response here is embarrassing.
Condescending and rude response. Are you even really a transformers fan? Galvatron being a headmaster is a pure and utter joke especially with the last terrible universe attempt. Clearly you like headmasters I personally think they're stupid. This is what being a fan is about to give positivity and criticism when one feels it's needed into the toys and putting two characters into a line and defacing the characters because fiction wise Galvatron is disgusted by headmasters and sentinel prime who would be of the same opinion given his time in idw which has been a great tale wasn't a headmaster nor does it fit the character.
I like combiners but think the 84 bots likes Ironhide and Prowl being combiners is stupid and a waste personally.
I'm sure you'll respond intelligently with don't buy them but it's a slot that Hasbro could have given to make a new combiner team to add to Victorian in my opinion.
It's all about opinion and you disrespected mine so I disrespect yours.

I would hope it wouldn't be a remold i would hope an entirely new mold but time will show but still am i the only one still waiting for an metrotitan redeco? XD
Sabr showed off the image and the design is similar to Metroplex as are the transformation joints and separation lines. It looks like it is a very heavy retool/reshell.
Could you repost the picture?
If you look, the leg segmentation is the same, the forearms are very similar, as is the overall design like how tall the torso is, the boxy design, the chest, it all looks similar. This really looks like an extensive retool/reshell of Metroplex.
That's coz it IS a heavy retool of Generations Metroplex!

One neat thing we know now though that we wouldn't have perhaps known last week is that the little vehicle shown with him may be able to Transform into the other one shown nearby - which is nice to know.
It's a little curious to wonder how IDW will deal with being asked to adapt to a story principle that isn't especially compatible with their existing ones - considering Combiner Wars toyline story so far is only mildly associated with the Combiner Wars branded comics. It looks like the Machinima 'Cartoons' will derive from the toy fiction more than the IDW fiction as best as I understand their statements to date.
Also I find it a little irksome that we now have two media offering which had Windblade in them and yet she is actually pretty hard to get - the Legion isn't ideal - I thing Hasbro need to make some more of her toywise if they are going to use her so much as they seem to want to do.
Perhaps a giftset or twin pack release (at mass-market not at conventions).

Bombshell was dead and got a toy. the only reason Defensor or Optimus Maximus came were because the lost light sent a ship. For all we know, several of these are just toys and not in-fiction.

He keeps losing it (FOC, MP, Titans Return eventually) because he won it before it ever truly began:
Transformers Universe - Classics 2.0 Ravage Gallery
He only had downhill to go, and so he went.
Slippery slope. Next thing you know, he's gonna be a retool of some random guy like Breakdown or somethin strange like that
hehehehe, references

Well, IDW currently has two major competing religions among the Cybertronians.
There's the story of Primus and the 13 Primes that seems to be embraced by some of the colony worlds. It's heavily tied to the Aligned Continuity, but based on the flashbacks with Alpha Trion and Galvatron there are major differences from the Aligned Continuity - any of which, though, could be due to Alpha Trion being an unreliable narrator in either case, and with the Quill, a reality editor too. Anything and everything could be true, could have been true, or could never have been true.
Then there's the story of the Guiding Hand, which seems to be one of the more popular religions on Cybertron itself, and within that context, the 13 Primes are treated as semi-mythological tribal leaders or warrior kings, like Theseus and Heracles of Greek Mythology/History. In that context, the 13 Primes are respected, but not necessarily revered or liked.
Both religions are tangled with multiple different attempts to control Cybertron through gross abuse of its technological and spiritual resources, and the exploitation of its people. The Guiding Hand justifies Functionism, but the mythology of the 13 explains how it came to be, as well as how many of the 'aberrations' like combination and beast-formers came to pass.
Building on top of that powder keg is a pile of kindling - Optimus Prime is being worshipped by the Caminans, while Starscream is still believed by some to be the "Chosen One." Galvatron and Alpha Trion are each running their own agendas - Galvatron may remember the Cybertron most others have forgotten, and there's no telling what Alpha Trion's doing with the Quill and the Covenant. Meanwhile, Nexus Prime's Enigma of Combination has been hacked and its source code copied which not only, apparently, eliminates the need for the Enigma itself, it may allow access to, control over, or recreation of any of the ancient relics - perhaps even the key to creating Cybertronian life without the Matrix or Primus. A lot of things are becoming world-changing plot-devices, which challenge the tenants of some of the characters' beliefs.
So, basically, if the Titans and then the Primes start returning, I'd expect an all out religious war.

-----------
P.s. The Writers room pretty much confirmed that they are building up to Unicron in the Live Action Movies - that is why Hasbro is being reticent to discuss him - you are very likely to be getting a new Unicron in 2017 or 2018 or after depending on if they decide to string it out with the Quintessons first...
But yep Titan sized Unicron toy is "Inevitable" but it will be Movie Universe not so likely to be Prime-wars (unless it's something they think they can do with a repaint either with the Live Action Unicron or the Armada mould).
There is one other small possibility to consider and that is the animated Transformers Prequel Movie might have Unicron in it in some respect and that could be used as an excuse to make him in some way.
I'm sure there will be a large non-Transforming one soon too out of Japan in time for the Animated Movie anniversary late next year. probably from the same people who make those sort of things a few times year.

Sure hope not, that thing had some serious structural problems.

I am unimpressed. The Titans themselves don't look like they've progressed from the 80's, I don't like Blaster as a "Titan Master" nor do I really like him being that big (and FFS, they'd better not just make Soundwave out of him, that would be INCREDIBLY lazy even with retooling) nor do I like the look of Galvatron.
But ... I'll give it a go. I don't see it being a line I'll be getting a lot of though.

Maybe they'll sort that out with this retool! kinda like they're currently doing with the CW Prime/Motormaster mold....with fixed hip joints with Battle Core Optimus & the reissue Motormaster
