I was happy with the Aerialbots. Stunticons arrived from Japan yesterday, not impressed.
What didn't you like about the stunticons?
Was it mm's dumb torso mode, or the sameyness of dead end and neck brace?
I think that if the mold existed already, they should have used streetwise for either dead end or neck brace, it would've really helped break up the monotony of the set
That's why I liked Offroad soooo much, he offered a bit more diversity and he still looked cool
Yeah, he's one of the best figures, I loved the colors he brought, that teal and green look so nice

The offroad mold is actually my second favorite vehicle mode mold, with the Rook mold being first

Mines: Hotspot (the fulfillment of a deep childhood love), prowl, and offroad and first-aid are tied at third

First Aid is my favorite character of the group, considering his MTMTE role, I have fallen in love with they guy. I am considering buying a second one of him to have separate and one to have combined

I'd say either Air Raid or Rook is my favorite.

I did like his poseable wings and 5mm ports on his arms.

First Aid makes a good beefy arm and is the best leg mold in my opinion. He and Rook as arms together make for a buff combiner. Air Raid is my favorite aerialbot though. I just love his mold

Yeah first-aid rocks as a limb, and rook is scary as an arm. I wasn't a fan of the cockpit fuselage design of air raid, and his head looks kinda off to me, I much prefer skydive

I was thrilled that we're getting deluxe sized Headmasters, until I remembered Brainstorm; if the head works the same way where you need to recite the rosary to get it off, I'm out.
I've waited a long time for proper updates to Blaster and Galvatron, these aren't them. This is not some G1 fan whining; we NEVER got a proper Galvatron, the Encore did ok but there was a limited design to begin with. This is probably the last time we will get a Galvatron that's close to the animation model that's not a MP. The original Blaster was OK, but like Galvatron I think this is the last time the original design will be visited outside of MP. For what it's worth if they can transform with the heads still attached I'll be good.
Rewinds arms fold up at the elbow to form the turret. Unfolding them reveals the hands, I don't think it can get flat enough to fit in Blaster.
Are Hardheads hands/arms molded in such a way to proper hold the rifle straight?
Maybe they felt the name was too similar with the "Wars" part. Or maybe they originally had one idea for the story that would tie into the toyline, but then changed their minds and went with another about Titans coming back instead of a Titan war. Just my guesses.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Any idea why the change from Titan Wars to Titans Return?
