I'm okay with most of the characters that everyone's predicted...

But where's the love for the Decepticons????

I was hoping for Shockwave, and personally, I'd take Insecticons over some of those Autobots.

Wasn't there rumor that a couple Dinobots would make the cut?

Wildrider, that's who it was. Breakdown was a Lambo, just Sideswipe and Streaker, he was dark blue. Now that you've mentioned the stunticons, I think I want a classics Menasor, that would be prime... =P~

Breakdown was more bone white with the dark blue undercarriage.

Perhaps they'll use the likes of Prowl, Mirage and Sunstreaker/Sideswipe for club/con exclusive Stunticons?

And as for this, I hope it won't be a club/con exclusive, I want Menasor to be the much talked about new combiner mold for the Universe line, and to be mass produced, so that I will be able to afford him. For some odd reason, Menasor is my favorite Gestalt out of all, bot Bot and Con, maybe it's because in the Episode "Starscream's Brigade" when he owned Bruticus!

Dead End was a maroon Porche 928 with a yellow stripe, Breakdown was an ivory Lamborghini Countach with navy side skirts and a red bonnet.

I'd love some Classics Stunticons, even if they don't combine they'd be cool... the Autobots don't own the roads y'know :lol:

Also to the folks saying that Classics Sunstreaker looks Ferrarish you are either sight impared or don't know your cars - Ferrari has never really done this shape.

He has a Gallardo/Murcielago hybrid front and Countach back, seriously he is virtually an exact Countach from behind.

The rippled potatoe chip roof is a new one to me though

True, but Magnus is also already in the Classics 1.0, doubtful they'd re-release him. Also Prowl has the added Benefit of being a completely different, no relation mold and character to Animated Prowl. Where as Animated Ultra Magnus is pretty similar to G1. From what we have been able to see.

But you never know they might still release him. But I doubt it would be for Wave 2. Maybe Wave 5 or 6 if we get that far.

And, for the record, as a G1 guy, and a car buff, Sunstreaker and Sideswipe (G1) were both Lamborghini Contach's. Sunstreaker was more modified. As was Red Alert was Sideswipes repaint. Lambo's had the split side windows that Ferrari's never had. And the new Classics 2.0 Sideswipe and Sunstreaker also have split windows.

Aww dammit! your quotation didn't pick up my edit. When I realized I had made an error about who was what flashy sportscar in the Stunticon sub group, I changed it from Dead End to Breakdown, but I get it. :wink:

As far as SS goes, the second I saw it I thought Lambo. Ferrari never crossed my mind.

Seconded! And as for more Decepticons, I suggest a Classics/Universe Shockwave, for starters that would look pretty cool, and supposedly we are getiing Galvatron, and that he wouldn't be a repaint of Classics Megs, so, that should look cool!

To all the people bashing us who think SS looks more like a Ferrari than a Lambo - I am well aware that he was a Lambo in G1. However, after being around all 3 of the mentioned cars (gallardo, murcielago and 360) I know that lambo pictures are very misleading as to what the cars look like in real life, so I still maintain that THIS version of SS looks a bit more like a Ferrari than a Lambo. As for the sight problems comment, I now remember why I hardly ever post in the toy forum - because some people can't have a good debate without insulting those who don't have the same views as themselves.

to be perfectly honest, i think its got the look of both a 360 and a lambo. and im fairly sure ive never seen it written anywhere official that he is one or the other, so im just going to take it as personal choice. As for harsh nasty comments. I often get told that my transformers hobby is one that should be kept up by children, and i always disagree and claim adults share that same hobby, and most collectors are adults. However, seeing some of the comments on here sometimes make me think its mostly kids collecting this stuff. but then i realise, even kids can accept a difference of opinion!!

A lot of things that are uncertain in this world. A lot of crap that needs to be dealt with...

But one thing's for certain. And it's that the Transformers will always kick major metalic rear end.

I'm waiting patiently for Prowl (so I can change his insignia for him to be "Movie Classic" Barricade) and Octankor. :o)

i'll never understand people who base the desirability of a toy on anything other than its intrinsic qualities. Ive heard it all, I dont want this figure because:

Its not accurate to teh cartoon.
its not got its G1 alt mode.
the robots not like its G1 mode.
I dont like the character in the movie/toon/comic.
I dont like prime toys ever, he sucks.
its for kids.
the names wrong.
i hate TF animated cartoon so hate the toys.
its the wrong size for 'x'.
the scales all wrong in this line so they suck.
the colours wrong for this character.

etc, admittedly some seem to buy a toy they DONT like for the opposite reasons (where they work) eg, I hate animated prime but I have every prime so i have to buy it!!

I get a toy for one reason, because i like that toy for itself, nostalgic baggage isnt a good thing.
