It's not coming to Western retail. Both it and the other set were exclusive to the Transformers Kids Day event over in Southeast Asia.

You should have seen how divided the fandom became when Masterpiece Ultra Magnus was revealed to be ignoring it. Literally split the fandom in half with everyone either liking it or hating it.padfoo wrote:Sabrblade wrote:People really want the old white Prime cab inner robot on this toy, and using the new Voyager Prime mold as a base is but one of several ways that could be done.megatronus wrote:I'm not sure how people are making the jump from the "Generations Leader Ultra Magnus" rumor to "Voyager Prime repaint with armor" speculation. I did not realize so many people would be interested in the white Prime inner Transformer gimmick. I never cared for it!

Ahh, last Thursday. The time of fanrages and flame wars. And the universe was created, so that's cool. (Google "Last Thursdayism" if you don't know what I'm talking about.)

Thursday was Tuesday? Is it you who's confused, or is it me?
And since the current crop of Generations figures are based on the IDW comics, has anyone thought that the figure might come with a Minimus Ambus instead?
(What I really want is for it to combine with Optimus into Omega Prime, but that seems vastly unlikely.)

Are people still complaining about that, or did we accidentally create a meme?

This looks different enough:chuckdawg1999 wrote:I hate to say it but I think Leader Ultra Magnus will be an AOE Prime repaint. In 2014 I can't see how they would do a Leader UM that wasn't drastically different from the Masterpiece figure.

...I don't get it, but that's probably my own fault for not jumping on before Dark Cybertron.
