Sigh, I'd like that Canada would not be 4 months late over the USA for once. The Windblade wave barely appeared on the shelves recently...
Not as bad ad TF Prime deluxes wave 2, but still.............
Apparently Ryan/Seibertron saw both voyagers in my area around October, but I was out of the country for work... so that sucks.
I just hope Combiner Wars happens alongside restocks of some of the Q4 2014 releases, instead of replacing them entirely.

Eh, NYC is odd for collecting in general. Either the new waves come early and flood everything, or you don't seen anything for new waves because the aforementioned flood is still hogging peg space.
I'll end up seeing Roadbuster/Skybyte/Acid Storm/Gears eventually, it may just be another month or two.

Currently, over here, it's Walmart who have the edge with the latest Gen wave. Target IS the one who is a ghost town, with about ZERO deluxes of any lines on the shelves. I asked an employee who was restocking some shelves if they planned to restock on TF. As expected, he hadn't a clue and didnt give a fawk.
I also never saw Skybite on any shelves ever, despite finding Roadbuster.

Buying them from BBTS right now would ammount at CAN26.60$ for each figures, counting shipping and CAN/US $ conversion. If buying from the most expensive local store, TrU, at full price with taxes, it would be 19.55$CAN. Not much of an issue if that wave pull a PRime Deluxe Wave 2 on us, but I'd be pissed if the Arcee wave hit the local stores next month... especially if the figures are on sale.
So, should I give in to impatience and lose money, or should I play the waiting game and risk missing out?

In my experience, every single time i wait, i miss out, and nearly every time i pay extra it pops up on the shelves. all i know is id rather pay an extra £5 now and see it on the shelves than wait, it never show up and you then have to pay an extra £40 after the scalpers have had their wicked way.

I'm waiting to buy them locally on sale (well, for chromia, I might buy arcee full price, she's the only one we have to worry about, Chromia is the equivalent of windblade in demand, I believe). They are already listed on walmart.ca's website (at 10$) so they are at least sure to show up there.
Also, my question before was regarding if Walmart would allow a price check with themselves. Showing them an item online that isnt in a competitor's flyer wont result in anything. But I was not sure if showing them a listing from their own site would make a difference.

Hilarious and sad at the same time. At least his bio was better than Rattrap's which focused more on literal garbage than beast wars.
The bios have really taken a dive lately when compared to the ones from Universe 2.0. Ratchet's told a story of his relationship with Megatron, and how it framed his personality. Those were all really great. I don't feel like Hasbro's current copy writers are as good.

ruination (bruti retools), and legends SS and megs.
im confident ill eventually find arcee and chromia, but im keeping my BBTS preorders cause this is the instance where i dont feel like gambling and dont mind paying a premium. at least you get the comics you would otherwise miss at canadian retail.

Cheers for that man, its quite often my first port of call. Kapow stocks more, but getting the item delivered for some reason isnt always as smooth as it should be. Numerous figures have been lost so i tend to stick to amazon as much as possible but i didnt expect those 2 to be up there yet. So thanks again

I think that's a fair assessment about the wave later thing. I've just noticed several stores in my area with plenty of stuff from that wave, but maybe one or zero windblades and like a bazillion jhiaxuses, etc. it's interesting different areas have a different over abundance of certain toys.

The stores in my area are still clogged with Rattraps and Tankors. With the bio Hasbro gave Rattrap, it's like they wanted him sell horribly.

It's robot garbage. There's a difference between piles of metal and piles of rotting, smelly garbage.
