There's been no word of a Takara release of Nightbeat or Jhiaxus.-Kanrabat- wrote:Nemesis Destron wrote:Recently I found both Nightbeat and Jhiaxus and I bought them both on a whim. I had them both for about a week unopened as I kept pondering to myself. Is it safe to say that they will both be a Takara release? Nothing grinds my gears more than getting the Hasbro release only to find out how much better the Takara version actually is. So I chose to return them both for the simple possibility.
Do we know if this will be or no word yet? My thanks to anyone that may know.
Takara Windblade have been announced for ages and is just around the corner. Jiaxus is a given as well.
But heh, if you want to pay 40-50$ each figures instead of 15-20$, go nut.

Sabrblade wrote:So yeah, Takara has sure been skipping out on a lot of Hasbro's Generations toys, either not releasing them at all, or only releasing them as something other than the characters that Hasbro intended them to be.

Right, but not as Generations. Added a note, though.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Sabrblade wrote:

GDO Megatron as Cloud Megatron, canceled GDO Brawn as Cloud Brawn.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Cobotron wrote:Seibertron wrote:Anyone have a moment to recap the quality control issues with Brainstorm?
Mostly has to do with the headmaster's head.
It's on a post attached with a screw. If your not careful with the mechanism that connects with the torso, the headmasters head will break off when you pull. stripping the threads in the neck and severing the head. The head tends to insert to far into the mechanism, and too much force is needed to get it out.
Also sounds like some sloppy residuals from sprew(spell?) separation.

Yikes. Good thing to know ahead of time though, so I can check for mold flash, extra gate, and maybe loosen up the assembly a bit.
