Hasbro's Roadbuster looks like it will easily be worth the $20-$25 price. FP's Warbot does not look like something that's worth $100, especially with an alt mode that looks like a brick on wheels.

You're probably right. I just thought I'll be more happy with Hasbro Roadbuster... It's not about worth for Hasbro Roadbuster cause I'll get it anyway.

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.
And a very nice, albeit slightly outdated Universe redecoShadowstream wrote:mooncake623 wrote:GuyIncognito wrote:mooncake623 wrote:=/ Kind of tempted to get FP's roadbuster now... this is kind of a let down. Guess will wait for it in hand first before I decide. I'll buy all of these anyway.

I'll agree that Hasbro Roadbuster is not the greatest, but given the alternatives are a repainted combiner limb that I've never seen in stores anyway, and an overpriced FailprojectFansproject figure, I'll put my money on Hasbro.

Delta Magnus wrote:Eh, Revolver looks a great toy (although I have heard he's a tad loose in places) but he's also very, very expensive. I'd personally rather get Hasbroadbuster and then get Recoiler and Riftshot so at least i have some incarnation of the Revolver mold (and also those armour pieces). Also, original characters are always cool.

Sure we can. If we only talked about figures we own, the conversation around here would get pretty boring.
Without even seeing FP Warbot in person, I can say with complete certainty that I would regret paying $100 for it.

Do you actually buy any third party stuff though? Cause maybe no Thirdparty item is worth the price to you no matter how good.

Not sure whether to go for this or the MakeToys figure. The MakeToys version is obviously much higher quality, more poseable etc (and I love the transformation) but it's only available with Swerve, a character I don't have much of a connection with

FP Warbot wasn't $100 when he was initially released I believe he was $80. There were numerous flaws in FP's version of Warbot but IDW Springer was just amazing in what Hasbro did with a $20 figure. This time around with Roadbuster I wanted the same feat from Hasbro. What we got is not a great looking figure. I just hope I'm wrong so maybe in hand I'll change my tune.
