Yep, looks like OS just put up the minicon powerlinking link and the Challenge pit into the side panel.

So, minicons are back for the uneducated masses, and the challenge pit is coming soon!

Cool pick of Bludgeon in there btw.

I hope challenge pit is cross level as well as cross faction.

I always fancied having an urn...

That would be a neat function.

Say you were 150% strafed, or hit by a real powerful charged shot. It would be pretty neat if your tf did get obliterated.

Annoying, upsetting. But damn cool.

And I suppose the remaints could be put into the CR chamber for base 500 energon, and left for 5-10 hours.

Just a little idea.

Funny you should ask

Each one of your characters can challenge one other character in the game. The opponent can be from ANY faction but must be on the same level.

When you make a challenge your character will still be active but in "waiting response" mode. When you make a challenge you must set the amount of energon you want to wager (between 0 - your total amount).

Your opponent will have a tiny sword & shield icon in the registry of whatever character you've challenged when he goes to his registry. Once the opponent character is free (not in a mission, arena or CR), the sword & shield icon will be a link to another screen where he can accept or deny the challenge.

The winner takes the wagered energon and the bragging rights.

PS....A character in "waiting response" mode will stay there until your challenge is accepted or reject or you remove your challenge.

And there WILL be reporting on the results so the whole of cybertron can keep track of who you've won or lost to and how many times

That's it in a nutshell.

I also like the fact you can fight anyone your level, and they don't have to be 'waiting for a challenger' as well, a la the arena.

**EDIT: Thought. Though you probably won't be able to stuff this into the V1 code, do you think in some future rev, a PM could be attached to the challenge? Basically so you could smack talk the possible opponent as well?
