This is a bit after the fact, as I have already bought the figure and now just waiting for it to arrive. What do you guys who have him think of him?

I like him, mold wise, fairly poseable and quite sturdy. I'm not a fan of his colouring; he looks a lot like two-face. I'd love an Energon Omega Sentinel if only for the uniform colour scheme.

Know what you mean about the colors. I almost bought a custom painted version off ebay that was in uniform G1 colors, but ended up going with a factory version.

Alt-mode wise, I quite like the battleship half. The construction vehicle half is just ugly, lazy and uninspired. The combined vehicle mode is just all over the place, as if Rob Liefeld drew it.

I'm partial to G1 brickiness, so he's a great display piece in robot mode. I find the Omega Optimus mode just silly though.

Omega's a pretty cool figure I think. I personally like the Headmaster feature, and his body even has a little head built in, in case you ever just want to display the headmaster in robot mode. The little head is just a squat little thing that is in no way proportion to the body, but the fact they included it is neat.

As other's have said, he's sturdy, pretty posable, and look imposing. I do agree that the construction part is lacking, but it's cool none the less.

I love it. I found it in a discount store and paid just over £11.00, the headmaster really sealing the deal. Heck of a bargain and while I'm not sure is worth the original £50 it's the figure that got me back into collecting. Tons of fun.

I think he's awesome! The separate vehicle modes are great, the battleship being the better of the two. Could be a ship at sea, or it could fly thru space, you decide.

The crane-truck is less thrilling, but it's sheer size and that giant claw are pretty cool. Combined, they form the quite-excellent Omega Supreme. Nice poseability for such a huge fig, and yes, the colors ar eall over the place, but he's a combiner, what do you want?

Enjoy, just make sure to leave enough headroom for him on your shelves.

I'll give it another great review. Both sides have their charm. I'm another that really likes the battleship. The robot is awesome. It stands proudly on my dresser...dwarfing the onlookers. :grin:

Energon Rodimus is one of the best Energon figs.
He looks really good on his own, and makes probably the best leg section for the combined mode with any other deluxe or voyager energon autobot.

His torso form is pretty bad though.

Also he has one of the better guns in that line.

And as for Omnega Supreme, Yeah I like the Sentinel color scheme better.
