Now that I think of it, the TT page on the main site needs to be updated.

And maybe we could get a little publicity by having an interview with several of the project members?

Good idea. I think that it should be with major-role palying members like yourself, Josh, and Iskander. What do think?

Josh and Iskander sounds good, but I don't think it should include me. The only thing I really did was writing the script and infusing a storyline based on the ideas of everyone in the project. that and I don't want to appear like someone who's idle

...you make it sound like you did nothing for the series.

I think someone's just being shy and a little modest...

But if you don't want to include yourself in the interview (script-writer!), then that's O.K. (but I think that you did a lot for this series, and you did come up with a lot of concepts and ideas like the Sec'Laz designs and creation of Transtopia. You did a lot IMHO)

I like this interview idea, don't know if it's the right time to do it, but I like it anyway. Oh, and Ra should be in it, so far he's been the biggest contributor to the project IMHO.

Now, that said, who would be the interviewer?, it should be hopefully someone that's not working on the project.

On a related topic, one thing I'd like to know is if this project is being discussed on other pages and/or forums; it'd love to know if people like what we are doing.

Agreed. We don't want any bias or previous knowledge of what's going on. Make it real!

As far as I know, the only member who even discusses our stuff on other forums is John Dillinga. Maybe he could do the interview since he's on a bunch of other boards and sites; isn't a part of this project; and is well respected in the Transformers community. What do you guys think?

That would be a good idea, he's mod at Tranfandom and as you said he's well respected in the community. And by the way, MS can you point us to some of those comments at other forums?.

I hope JD goes for this idea. I think that someone who's also respected in the community and a part of this project should ask him (so it sounds official and real). Who, that I'm not sure on...maybe you, Pepie?

Also, I know that JD is on at least 4 forums:

TFMaster.com's; Transfandom.com's; TFW2005.com's; and TFan.com's.

So this should be able to get plenty of exposure!!

TFM wasn't participating due to lack of time and the dislike of the faction names. But he has expressed intrest in the project. As site owner, that doesn't throw him out of the mix. he'd simply be supporting his users.

Just had an idea for some publicity. We could ask Josh or another artist to make a teaser poster with the various characters duking it out, ? la the DW Beast Wars teaser, with of course "Coming Soon" at the bottom. If Josh would do this, he can get used to drawing the several characters inaction while Acidwing works on the designs.

Sounds like a cool idea I've always thought we need more publicity for the project. Have you told to Josh yet?

On a related topic, when I first thought of the Reformers being a revolutionary force, I thought I may be cool to have some teaser posters in the style of old war posters, here are some of the ones I thought may translate great for our theme:

Nope, just had the idea today, and I haven't seen Josh online yet (alright, he's online at AIM, but he's on Away status).

That would be an excellent idea! I can really see the Transtopia style work with these posters, and that last one could be translated into a gladiator-like match between Panzer/Lockdown and a few captured Reformers.

Oh, and just had an eerie thought: Could it be possible, when it gets more publicity, that it could be blamed of being a ripoff from Twisted Metal Magazine?

You mean our comic? I don't think so as we started before them, and our project has other aspects too, like the toys, the whole new storyline and characters, etc.

Remember, there are a lot of idiots on the TF boards, and since Twisted Metal got more publicity...You never know. Not that it would really harm Transtopia, but I would hate it to be called like that.

And somewhere, deep down, the two are the same in their essence: Fan characters starring in fan stories written by fans and drawn by fans. And that's more then enough for some critics and flamers out there.
