I hope so. I don't know why I'm so angry about this figure, but it's bothering me. I suppose it's the fear that Hasbro won't do it and I'll be stuck with this completely out of place figure. It's like Optimus is getting oiled up for some Turkish wrestling, and I am not amused.

Down the dumps, unless they want to release it sometime the end of this year or next year.

Intah-wib-buls?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

They will, just like idw will provide us with in-fiction explanations of why the Transformers keep changing their bodies in-between story arcs.
All those that want the armour but don't want the Prime due to it's paint. Buy it anyway and sell or trade off the Prime to someone that wants it, the armour is glossy paint free and fits on both earth-mode Prime's. This is likely the only way you'll ever get this set, ever.

Well, alright then. I guess that solves that debate. Knowing is half the battle.
It seems the other half of the battle is going to be wedging that Ultra Magnus hammer in to Prime's hand.
Fortunately for you, this pack seems to provide Optimus Prime with a larger set of fists, which may just be big enough to accommodate the peg. And it also appears the gauntlet fists have a hinge so the fingers might be able to open.

Aw, c'mon! Does the figure really matter? The armor is removable and works with both the Deluxe and Voyager figures, whether they're American or Japanese.
If you have the original, American Optimus, you can put this armor on that figure, and put this one in storage or sell it or trade it.
You seriously have to calm down, because getting this angry over something so unimportant is just ridiculous. No offense, but this kinda thing is getting a bit old and making the fandom a less likable place.

I don;t know why I'm saying this, but somehow I just can't help myself, and I'm trying, because I know that in the grand scheme of the universe it's pointless. I also know I'm a long way from home advocating this kind of crazy idea on a discussionboard, but is there some reason why it's becoming less and less permissible to discuss things recently? Razorclaw doesn;t seem to be proclaiming this toy the end of the world, only that he finds it disagreeable. All he's doing is exchanging an idea, and if that's what's getting old and ruining this or any fandom, it's time to pack up the tents and just make this place a website of pictures.
Now everyone, go right on and lambast me, I don't care about that. I'm just saying that the trend of "This is wonderful.....everything is fine....thank god I'm not a Delta...." just kind of keeps rolling on 'round here, and that's what I think is old and detrimental to anything, let alone some fandom. I don't think it's a big deal if we disagree, but if we start forcing people to agree or say they shouldn't be able to disagree, well that just sucks.

Dagon wrote:I agree with you Razorclaw. If you purchase TF figures you are supporting a company, and purchasing their product. If you are unhappy with the product, you are entitled to voice a disagreement or an opinion. Sure, you can stop buying the product, but you can also voice displeasure. The totalitarian idea that I (as a general pronoun) must either unquestioningly love or hate something as a categorical is mindboggling.
You don;t have to love every single thing in order to be a fan. Certainly if anyone likes a sports team, are you a die hard fan of every single member of the team? Maybe. But more realistically, probably not, since you're a human being and not perfect or absolute. I'll tell you something, I'm a Colorado Avalanche die hard fanatic, and I hate Peter Budaj, even though he plays for the Avalanche. So, I guess it's possible to not like everything about something that you like.

lolololololol
No one said anybody had to love or hate anything. In fact, that'd be a bit overboard (telling someone how to feel, and actually loving or hating over some toys both....)
*sighs*

Well, I fully admit that my post was pretty ham-handed, and I don't think it realy came out the way that I wanted it to. So, in that respect I apologize if/that anyone finds it upsetting or whatnot.
I don't apologize for hating Peter Budaj. I really do.
If it's overboard to tell people how they should feel, doesn't that mean it's kind of going overboard to tell someone that they shouldn't react the way that they do to a toy, or anything else? I mean, 'loving' or 'hating' anything is essentially a figure of speech, cause I don't actually hate Budaj, because there are things more worthy of my hate than a goalie. But I can have whatever feeling I want, because there isn't one law for the lion and the ox.
I'm just saying. It's not right or wrong to have an opinion whether it's a positive or negative opinion. We all know that we dont have to have the same opinion, but having opinions is never bad for any collective. Disagreeing about things as galactically trivial as toys is probably a lot better than disagreeing over other galactic trivialities.
Razorclaw0000 wrote:Fair enough, and I understand where you're coming from, but the thing that makes me angry is they aren't giving me the toy I wanted. They're giving me something that I consider completely inferior, and basically I have to "take it or leave it". I either waste money importing a figure I don't want, which I can either keep the main figure, which has no place in my collection, or I sell it and take a bath because odds are no one will pay a decent price for it, or I skip it all together and miss the mold.
Razorclaw0000 wrote:Frankly I can be angry that not a single one of those opinions appeals to me.
It is my right to dislike the direction TT went. Every TT Animated figure looks much worse to me than it's Hasbro counterpart.
Razorclaw0000 wrote:I'm usually a really positive guy. I'm a near completionist. It's hard to get me to dislike a figure. I even like Battle Ops Bumblebee and the Power Core Combiners.
Razorclaw0000 wrote:Why is it the one time I actually dislike something strongly enough to call it out, I get the heat?
If you want to discuss this further PM me.
El Duque wrote:I'm just glad we're getting the remaining figures. I would prefer a Hasbro release so everything would match better, but this will have to do. At least with these being Takara releases I can just pre-order them and not have to drive all over creation looking for store exclusives. This is a bit off subject, but this seems like a great situation for the TFCC to step in. The molds are made, why not do a small batch and sell them through the club to those of us who liked the Animated line and want the remaining figures.
