Delta Magnus wrote:Liking the new sculpts, but if I may suggest something, perhaps some new armour sculpts on the Desolataur/Bloodbath based bodies (King Adder etc) would break up the monotony a little bit? As much as I love that spiked armour, some different designs would be extra cool. Also, perhaps some extra armour sets later down the line (like the Head Shots, but with armour instead)?

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Autobot Genocide wrote:Had a quick look on pwtt fp page and they say that the pledge will be "high" how high are we talking what's the usual for a kickstarter ?
Also they say we will be able to pick a figure we want for chipping in as there will be a small choice then more added later
so is there multiple figures that will be funded by this like the Skullgrin body and the starscream body ?
i thought it was only for the skullgrin figure to be made and then the more money the more new parts
so by the end of the ks are pwtt expecting to be able to make a couple of full figures ?
KICKSTARTER kicks off "officially" on Friday. This one of a kind Boneyard piece by artist MATT FRANK will go to one lucky backer!
About Matt:
Matt Frank, known as the "Kaiju King," has garnered himself a bit of a fan-favorite status by contributing to numerous Transformers titles. He kicked off 2013 with the crossover one-shot, Mars Attacks The Transformers, not to mention Transformers Spotlight: Trailcutter, both of which he fully illustrated. He had also worked on the Beast Wars Sourcebook, Transformers Animated: The Rise of Safeguard, and the Collector's Club stories Flash Forward and Beast Wars: Shattered Glass. Aside from Transformers, Matt has also contributed heavily to IDW's various Godzilla titles, starting with covers on Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters and Godzilla: History's Greatest Monster. He then moved on to covers and interiors for Godzilla: Legends and Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, the longest-running Godzilla comic ever made. In 2015, Matt will be the featured artist of Botcon's exclusive comic story, Cybertron's Most Wanted.

The way it usually works with action figure kickstarters is they have a couple basic figures, usually with some common parts, and a initial goal. Once that goal is met, they start unlocking more figures (usually with progressively newer parts), which leads to people adding those figures to their initial orders, and increasing the amount of money raised, which in turn unlocks more goals. They keep unlocking the goals until the month of pledges is over, then collect the money from your credit card. So the farther it goes the more figures it gets. The initial couple figures will probably look very similar, and they already said Desolataur is one of the starter figures, so expect it and a couple it's friends as the initial offering.
When Virtruvian Hacks did their figures they starter with a medusa snake woman and a greek soldier, once those were funded they added more figures. Amazing Heroes had a couple heroic comic heroes and kept adding more. Gothitropolis Ravens has a bird man, and kept adding more species of birds, later even griffens and the like. All were mostly the same figure with with new heads, accessories and paint.

Strangely enough with all the hate that's been going on around here it's got me more interested in the project and i'm willing to put some money in IF they're not asking for something stupid .
Also iv'e found myself more interested in the human side of the characters even though i don't like the original figures .
Just have to wait till friday and see what the KS has to say .

Tsutsukakushi wrote::shock: Think the $55 price seems a bit high. Considering PWTT said the kickstarter figures would be cheaper than the non-kickstarter figures.
If the Kickstarter figures cost so much. Hate to see how high priced the non-kickstarter figures will cost.
