Are they going to make a Mon-starr homage next?
Scaleface wrote: Not that much need, I think Custom Robots is making those Revoltech toys that are basically updated Action Masters.
Anyways, Grimlock and Starscream appeared in the Action Master line, Pretenders and Play With This Too, so they are already covered.

Think that Hasbro currently has the Action Masters TF thing more than covered with the Hero Smashers TF themed toys. Think these toys surpass the 1990's ActionMasters in Articulation, Sculpt and quality.
If Hasbro would add a few themed Pretenders designs in their Hero Smashers TF line. Then I think they'd be no need for these PWTT Pretenders toys, i'm guessing will cost well over $50 for the mass released non-kicker starter toys versions.

Scaleface wrote:Yeah, here is another picture of the sword. I'd imagine the 3D prints are trickling in and he's showing them off as they arrive and look good.

Delta Magnus wrote:They really seem to be working to preserve the sculpt whilst retaining articulation, which is nice. They also seem to be doing it the right way (so many toy manufacturers, NECA chief amongst them, use those godawful cut hinge joints with the plastic pins, which look ugly, have poor articulation and break easily). I like the look a lot.
Also, if these guys are reading this, I might add a few suggestions:
>Make the wrists mount on ball joint so they have some waggle motion as well as swivelling.
>Instead of the peg waist, how about reworking it so it has a large ball joint, allowing for a bit of an ab crunch? There doesn't look to be anything in the sculpt that would make that difficult but then I'm no expert.
>Some kind of double joints for the knees and elbows would be cool. Maybe have the ball joints mounted on a hinge allowing for more movement?
Obviously I'm no engineer but I think it might work well.

It looks like all of these X-Hasbro employees were aware and stole the Hasbro, Hero smashers toy line ideas Two years ago before they all got fired.
Think these PWTT 6 inch action figures have way too much in common with Hasbro's switch around limbs and switch around body parts from Hasbro's Hero Smashers Marvel and TF toy lines.
Think doing 3rd party 6 inch figures is redundant as the retail market is over filled with them for a very low price points in the form of WWE, Classics MOTU, Spawn, Super heroes and so on. Just can't imagine much demand being there for exspensive 3rd party toy versions.
The problem I see is, Hero Smahers is a terrible toy line. As it is on the borderline of being a failure in sales in most USA retail stores.
Tsutsukakushi wrote:Regarding those 2 inch Drones that come with the Six inch action figures PWTT toys. Think it was a mistake for PWTT to partner up with BMOG. Due to those BMOG toys not being well received in the fandom. Also think the BMOG toys were deemed a failure in designs and sales a long while back.
Scaleface wrote:Tsutsukakushi wrote:So the Drone robot that is 3 inches tall does not fit inside a area, inside the 6 inch figure? Guessing not based on available info. Think this is Disappointing, for me at least.
The big figure is 6 inches, a large Deluxe, and is HIGHLY articulated. The small figure is 3 inches, a Legends figure. The little figure breaks up into accessories that snap on the arms and back of the big figure as weapons.

It's actually a pretender to what Pretenders should be?
So...it isn't a Transformer.
Just calling it like I see it.
