Scaleface wrote:The Kickstarter campaign surpassed 60% funding last night, and according to predictions from Kicktraq it is probably going to unlock at least 4 more figures and a bunch of add-ons (probably more since Kickstarters liks this tend to surge when the doals start to unlock). So we will probably get to see Sir Pythanore, King Adder, Mighty Muscules and The Insurmountable Barbaricles! I'll make sure to up my pledge to include them.

If half of the kickstarter's stock ends up on e-bay, I would call that a tainted victory.
You really don’t care if the "backers" are actual fans or not, do you? All you care about is PWTT reaching the $80,000 mark. Putting scalpers in the same category as loyal fans just to reach a goal is pretty low. You had me fooled all along thinking you were just a fan. Does the $80,000 goal include a commission for you too?
Enough. I told you days ago to lay off Scaleface, I've told you to lay off this thread, yet you continue to post here and take shots at Scaleface and other supporters of PWTT.
If I have to step in AGAIN to deal with this, well ... you're out of warnings. It's permanent next.
Understood, but one question...
Lets just say the kickstarter gets funded, but funding is 50% scalpers speculating future demand once video reviews are filmed. Do you consider that a tainted success for PWTT from a "true fan" perspective ?
How can you scalp these? They are made to order + extras for distribution.
On top of that, wouldn't scalpers go for the army of 10 packs to maximize their profits?
The only ones people will buy multiples of to later sell one down the line will be the kickstarter exclusive ones, the rest isn't worth scalping, since they'll be out in a few months.
And if you looked at the kickstarter, the lower pledges that give you one figure, or one of each are the ones people are most interested in. Sure some will find their way to ebay, but nowhere near 50%.
We dont know how many 10 packs have been sold. All im saying is some scalpers might be banking on reviews to increase interest in this product down the line. How many people on a daily basis accidentally stumble on PWTT Facebook and be like OMG I gotta have one ? Is this really an "on the fence" type of purchase situation for anybody considering there are only drawings to sway them ? I truly believe everyone who is truly interested in owning one (or more) pledged on day one. So where is the other 40-50% of the funding going to come from ? I originally suggested BBTS, but it has been alleged that the $80,000 will finance the retail run. So the only other place I can think of where the other 40-50% of the funding might come from is speculating scalpers. You got any better ideas ? Im open to hearing them...

I guess we have different opinions on what the definition of "outspoken" is. If I was really looking to push things like you allege, I would just ask you bluntly did you even pledge at all ? (I respect your privacy if you prefer not to answer that)

X, look at the kickstarter, it tells you exactly how many have pledged for what, the 10 packs have sold exactly zero. All you gotta do is read the handy little pledges on the side, which is a very simple thing to do

According to my definition of outspoken, outspoken describes the act of eating someone else's excrement while singing. So if that's what you describe yourself as, good for you I guess.

Im trying to word my comments in a polite fashion to avoid offending anyone.
Sure it's not the classic X everybody loves (or hates) but there will other threads where I can better justify having a sense of humor.
Ive got warnings from 2008 that they still honor. I used to type in all caps because it was easier. Back then I didnt even knew we had PM inboxes. They had sent me a bunch of warnings I never read and I got banned without even knowing I was doing anything wrong. When I explained via e-mail they unblocked me, but they still count those warnings.

But, since you appear to be too lazy to do that, here's the links to the specific Kickstarter page and the analytic sites.

It's sitting at 60% with $48,327, as of this post.
Here are the links to both analytic sites Scaleface mentioned, each of which can be found with a simple Google search:
http://www.kickspy.com/top Trending to $130,204
http://www.kicktraq.com/ Trending to $193,308
Feel free to check out their methods. [/endOfHelpingX]
There was an update on where the name D-Fuzz comes from. Check out the update section at the Kickstarter page because I don't feel comfortable sharing all of it here. But, the short of it is it is named and colored in honor of a friend of the creator's and his daughter. It is heart warming and brings into this a human element.
Cheers, PWTToo!

well it's not my site or rules/guidelines....but I would consider a probational period and old offences should be expunged from the record.....but what do I know I'm just some punk G2 kid.

That's not at all what the word "outspoken" means. Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not, but here's a link to its definition on Dictionary.com:

I know what outspoken means, I was just doing a Rated X. Which is when you try to piss someone off by trolling, and then try to get a rise out of them by justifying your actions by not agreeing with "other people's definitions, because I have a different definition for everything so I'm not wrong and it's you who's being an ass". Trust me Ryan, he does this all the time, just ask anyone on staff, I'm sure everyone has had to deal with people complaining about him and some people even leave because of what a dick he is.

I haven't pledged yet. I am going to pledge. I am still weighing up my options. Been looking forward to scalping the 3 or 4 different figures I'll probably end up with on ebay for ages.

Cool! I'm guessing that we do the same thing to increase the pledge for the stretch goals?
I was traveling (again) when this happened, but even if I'm late, I'm here inviting all my friends and toys aficionados to support Play With This Too Kickstarter campaign!
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/44339820/play-with-this-too-lost-protectors
This is their first kickstarter and I really, really want to see them succeed: there are lot of great people involved in this project: freelance pals, people that inspired me in my toy designer career, people that believed in me and offered me chances to work on things I've would have never imagined to be involved with, people that taught me so much and I can call friends. These folks are great, and I'm sure they're off to awesome things and awesome toys.
I've been involved, even if minimally, so far too and I hope to be able to contribute more and more.
If you can, please consider helping found their project, they truly deserves all the support they can get!

Yes, in fact you can just add all the stretch goals you want NOW, so it will help bring the total up, since they don't charge you anything now anyways. When the campaign gets near the end you can remove any stretch goals they don't reach from your pledge the same way. So if you want some of the heads, or extra figures, just add them now.
