ok ive just been daydreaming and came up with a pretty cool(in my opinion) idea for Transformers 2(well its probably already written, so this could be good for #3)

and please be honest in ur responses i like and respect all good and bad criticsm, i want to be a writer someday.

ok they movie would start off catching up with the autobots who have grown as more have come to earth, but just as the autobots recieved Primes invitation to earth, it was intercepted by starscream and other surviving decepticons who have been regrouping some where on earth(or maybe the moon since starscream flew into outerspace), so both sides have built up an army, but this time starscream has taken control of the decepticons, but only a few are still loyal to megatron, these "rebels" are led by soundwave who has gathered up some followers (including the construticons and nemesis prime) and have decided to go find megatron and rebuild him from the part of his and the others who were dumped into the ocean. they rebuild him and some how(???) reactivate him as Galvatron. then Galvatron hearing of the decpticons acceptance of starscream as their leader reappears to the decpticons, fights starscream and kills him, then taking back the leadership of the decepticons wages war against the autobots.

meanwhile......

Prime and the autobots have regrouped and have found new autobots(Hot Rod, the dinobots, and others)and have a feeling about the decpticons regrouping and decide to find new autobots who have landed on earth and have been in disguise among humans.

there is frequent battles between the autobots and decepticons (who are both in hiding and battles between so who have no yet regrouped)as the decepticons are desprately trying to find Prime and the others hiding places to try and finally end their years of battles.

the end finally comes down to a giant battle in tokyo(or some other major city) where Prime discovers that Megatron was rebuilt, during the battle(the decepticons have the avantage and upper hand) many sides have major losses (*** im not going to decide who lives and dies to prevent upsetting people ***) but in the end the autobots(some from both sides excape during the battle) win but realizes that as long as their on earth it'll always be in danger so they take the dead bodies of all the dead autobots and decepticons and shoot them off towards the sun, while they go off and try to find a deserted planet to begin rebuilding their own world.

the end.

now what did you think? good or bad thought tell me and be honest. ***and yes i realize my story probably has hundreds of plotholes, but bare with me its not a fully developed story, just a fun thing i thought up***

Starscream taking control and Soundwave opposing him to bring back Megatron ... yep ... haven't heard that one before. :P

Hes the leader now.Megatron was killed by a 17 year old.(See:transformers)

It sounds like a very long movie and the budget for that many robots would be huge I imagine.. The galvatron revival and killing starscream has already been done in the g1 movie and shouldn;t be used anymore I think..
For every 1000 hits I get from seibertron my sister will buy me a new TF.. Click! Click! Click!

While your idea is not original at all.

I will support it simply because I love the idea of a Decepticon civil war.

Megatron would kill StarSream as an athorative act of power and comand.

And yeah, it's semifamiliar, but tried and true does work, HOWEVER, it leaves no time for them to focus on the humans for half the movie which they sady will.

Don't you mean it doesn't leave them with enough time to focus on a convoluted plot involving the humans for 3/4 of the movie full of Goo Goo Doll love anthems that have nothing to do with transforming robots from outer space? Then when they do show the Transformers, during the most awesome parts of their fight scenes, the camera is all shakey and then refocuses onto random humans that no one cares about, especially when the Transformers are delivering their most stoic and best lines.

I seem to recall only hearing the Goo Goo Dolls song for about 30 seconds in one scene while I heard Linkin Park's song at least three times and for much longer too.

Please, dazzle us with more of your way-off-the-mark anti-movie opinions!

but starscream had command since megatron went missing,so why would he get overly upset about in a 1-3 time span?

More of a laugh at the Goo Goo Dolls than anything. They've become known for their love anthems in movies and television shows since City of Angels/Meet Joe Black era. Had I thought about Linkin Park I would have used that instead.

I was really being sarcastic but it's kind of hard to do in written form. :P

Also a little off topic but no love for the Transformers theme? It didn't even make it in the film at all. People must really hate that Mutemath remake.

IT has the old 86 Movie flavor. I don't think Bay will warm up to that.

True. He thought the G1 cartoon was "amateur" while his version was "spectacular".

Maybe for the CGi effects, yeah.

But for the story and portrayal, it's the other way around.

By the way, why choose Tokyo for your final battle? (Any bribes from Takara? :P )

Not too sure I'd describe the G1 cartoon's story as "spectacular"!

Again, not sure I'd use the word spectacular there. Theres just as many plotholes in that movie as their aree that people say for the new movie.

True enough. When Kup, Hot Rod and the Dinobots leave Quintessa, how do they know that Ultra Magnus, Springer, etc. are on the Junkion planet?

How does Prime take a beating and for the most part remain in one piece and die, but Ultra Magnus get ripped to shreds and they can just LEGo him back together no problem.

Granting they have equal amount of plot holes.

But 1986 Movie was in 1986.
And 2007 Movie was in 2007.

You can't be at par with something made 21 years ago. That's a loser.

And besides, people of 1986 has less expectations. Everything was simpler back then. :)

I hate to put down someones ideas but simply said:

I'm not a Dinobot fan. They should just be in their own movie.

But so many people do want to compare, or at least see a modern remake so you do kind of need to hold them to the same standards.

So you're saying we can't compare the likes of A New Hope to Revenge of the Sith?

Or perhaps we won't be able to compare Indy 1 to the upcoming Indy 4? :???:

You can compare them. I only meant you can't drag today's film down to the standards of olden times.

The old films are great block-busters of their time. They have their own glory fit for their era.

While some, because of the great story, and great acting, even survived to rival the standards of our time.

Unfortunately for TF Movie 2007, the storyline is sub-par at best.

So, are you saying that 1986 had lower standards than 2007? If so, are you saying that films were worse back then than now? Or were films back then better because even though the standards were lower then, the films actually achieved those standards, whereas today's films don't meet today's standards?
