And yeah, it's semifamiliar, but tried and true does work, HOWEVER, it leaves no time for them to focus on the humans for half the movie which they sady will.

I seem to recall only hearing the Goo Goo Dolls song for about 30 seconds in one scene while I heard Linkin Park's song at least three times and for much longer too.
Please, dazzle us with more of your way-off-the-mark anti-movie opinions!

Maybe for the CGi effects, yeah.
But for the story and portrayal, it's the other way around.
Auto Bot wrote:The G1 cartoon is not. But the old 86 Movie is.

Again, not sure I'd use the word spectacular there. Theres just as many plotholes in that movie as their aree that people say for the new movie.

True enough. When Kup, Hot Rod and the Dinobots leave Quintessa, how do they know that Ultra Magnus, Springer, etc. are on the Junkion planet?

How does Prime take a beating and for the most part remain in one piece and die, but Ultra Magnus get ripped to shreds and they can just LEGo him back together no problem.

Granting they have equal amount of plot holes.
But 1986 Movie was in 1986.
And 2007 Movie was in 2007.
You can't be at par with something made 21 years ago. That's a loser.
And besides, people of 1986 has less expectations. Everything was simpler back then.

So you're saying we can't compare the likes of A New Hope to Revenge of the Sith?
Or perhaps we won't be able to compare Indy 1 to the upcoming Indy 4?
